Title: underdog wildcat (ut related)

you were right on brown, i was wrong.  he's not a team cancer this year.  at worst, he's just a good player that could be even better if he played a little smarter and a little less selfishly.

still don't dislike balbay, though.  great defender.

What was the deal with Hamilton and Barnes at the end there?  Hams looked like he wanted to slug Barnes there for a second.

I've trashed Dogus for years, he would be amazing on Kansas State's roster.  A very good ballhandler and a lockdown defender.  He alone would solve literally all of our issues.

No question, Brown hunts his shot, and last year he continued to hunt it when it was clear it wasn't working for him. Even if slightly, I think he's learned to tone it back a little and try to buy into the team concept. When he gets it going like he did today, UT is damn tough, we're talking Final 4 caliber IMO.

Can't blame you for being a Dogue backer, he's willing to stick his nose in there and do all the dirty work necessary to win, which serves as a great example(leader!) for the rest of his teammates. Certainly didn't hurt them today.

I still think he sucks.

It's amazing how good of a coach Barnes is to be able to have a team as good as they are this year with this loser on the roster.

carried ut in the 2nd half.  though a lot of that was arizona not figuring out how the game was being called.

side note, will coaches ever stop overtimeouting?

Hamilton was the Fake Sugar Dick (WARNING, NOT THE REAL SUGAR DICK!) there. JFC. he grabs the rebound...then calls timeout...then they couldn't get the ball inbounds. wtf

Brown took his time coming up court, giving Texas no time for a put back.

i was including miller's timeout with his player driving in my criticism.  didn't see that it was hamilton rather than barnes on the ut side.  good catch.

if you are referring to the last timeout - i don't think Barnes called that.  looks like the player kind of panicked after picking up the rebound near falling out of bounds.  not sure

Martin's last timeout in the Wisconsin game was overtimeouting.

yeah, should have let Pullen run the exact same play again. It all kind of goes back to the point that there really aren't smart coaches when it comes to actual basketball.
