Title: boutique/gourmet hot dog restaurants
Post by: Dr.Spaceman on January 22, 2011, 08:01:00 AM
Thoughts? I went to Dog Nuvo (http://www.eatatdognuvo.com/) in KC yesterday. I thought it was pretty good but maybe a bit pricy. I had a reuben dog that was $6.50 or $7.00 (can't remember) as well as the truffle & asiago potato chips.  The dog was awesome and maybe worth it, the chips were also really good but definitely not worth 3 bucks. Also, there is very little room in that place.

There's one in Wichita that's pretty delicious.  Not sure the name though, mostly because they have to keep changing it to keep from getting sued.

They are (or already have) opening an actual metro grill restaurant.  Not sure about the timeframe.
