i can't even imagine praying for .500. If this team is going to suck I'd rather it just burn to the ground so we can start over and rebuild it right.

I think we have a better shot at winning in Lincoln than we do winning in Boulder. Granted, I don't think we have a great shot at either.

I think 10-6 is optimistic, 8-8 is realistic honestly. I think this is how it goes:
14-8 (2-5)
NEB - W
@ISU - W
@CU - L
ku - L
OU - W
@NU - L
MU - W
@TX - L
ISU - W

20-11 (8-8)
probably have to win at least a game in the tournament. we would probably be a 6seed and get OU/Tech/ISU. I think we can beat those guys and play probably aTm or MU in the second round. I like our chances against aTm in a neutral site game.

Quote from: Some guy on ESPN if what you've predicted happens.
K-State is playing well right now.  After a rough start to their conference season, they've gone on to win 5 of their last 7.  The loss to Iowa State really hurt them, but they have a nice win over Missouri, albeit a home game, and with a win in the Big 12 tournament they should be on the right side of the bubble.

who are we going to beat on the road? CU, ISU, NU?

I say nay to all three. ISU maybe...maybe if we are even close as Hoiberg has shown he's a Wooly-ite when the chips are down.

01/22/11   at Texas A&M  L check
01/24/11   vs. Baylor W check
01/29/11   at Kansas L check
02/02/11   vs. Nebraska W check
02/05/11   at Iowa State L win!
02/12/11   at Colorado W loss :(
02/14/11   vs. Kansas L
02/19/11   vs. Oklahoma W
02/23/11   at Nebraska W
02/26/11   vs. Missouri W
02/28/11   at Texas L

Have a bad feeling about at Nebraska and Missouri at home.  I'm leaning toward 6-10.

I'm thinking 7-9 now. OU and ISU wins, split @NU/MU.

The magic number is 5 imho.  5 more wins in any fashion and we are in.

the big 12 tournament is a big wildcard for sure.  likely will decide our fate more than anything else.
