The K-State women's basketball teams spends about $3 million a year, and losses about $2 million a year.   How many women's sports that K-State might actually be able to do something significant in, if they dropped women's basketball and used the money for say:  Softball and women's soccer??

legitimate question.

say one of the girls on the basketball team has a boyfriend (not that deb would allow this, but bear with me) whose family is :kstategrad:, and her birthday was yesterday. at a family dinner in which all of her family attended, the boyfriend's parents gives her a VISA gift card for $200.

would currie be a jackass and suspend the female basketball player??? oh, and call the NCAA about it???

(and before i get the "that's not the same at all" bull crap, go to hell, it's exactly the same.)

Why wouldn't Deb allow a player to have a boyfriend?  The announcers said that Julianne Chisholm is getting married this summer, so it would be hard to imagine she does not currently have a boyfriend.

Or have received wedding shower gifts?  Bachelorette gifts?  Canadian guy I know told me that those "gag" gift ladies toys can get very pricey.

Meh.  UConn does that to people on a regular basis.  I know I'd rather have 2 teams in the 2nd round than the vast majority of the country.  But yeah, KSU totally sucks.  Also, eff kimdax.

Her wingspan is two inches shorter than Anthony Davis'.  She's a junior.  Baylor has the second best point guard in the country who's only a sophomore.  Next year they will have the most dominant season in the history of men's or women's college basketball.
