Kansas State Football / Re: Football Recruiting Thread

however many lbs it was agreed that Avery needs to put on so that he won't get broken...that number of lbs could easily be cut in half with the addition of a guy like DE in the backfield

I don't think I am going too far out on a limb by saying that #blogkaren holds the same thoughts towards anyone criticizing Israel.

As expected you've completely ignored the entirety of the situation choosing only to focus on me, which for you (like many on here) is 1000% on brand.

counterpoint: i think you're going out past the end of the limb a la Wile E Coyote. I mean, spracs is his own man and can speak for himself, but i would bet my bottom dollar he absolutely unequivocally knows the difference between the State of Israel and Judaism

Whoah, wasn't expecting to catch a stray, here. I don't know what dax is talking about. But if I said anything along those lines, I was rough ridin' with him.

a headscratcher, indeed. i was trying to figure what world view he was trying to bolster, and i'm not sure even he can keep it straight. Or he might actually be saying the whole event is blueanongE cannibalism? the protesters are blueanongE (because they're...antisemitic i guess? not sure when exactly that got woven into the narrative) and also the fact that they were being arrested is classic blueanongE fascism.

I realize things like words and facts are essentially meaningless to me boy dax, but at this point i think he's just using AI to generate some kind of word salad

3
The primary point is that clearly our elite colleges are full of anti-Semites and on the flip side anti-free speachers as the crack down on pro-Palestinian protesters is occurring at many campuses right now.

This has to be very disheartening as prog-libs have devolved into fascistic #blueanon at our institutions of higher learning. #sad

ok dax i'll ask you as plainly as i can: do you think that the protesters (and those sympathetic to them) are antisemitic? I realize you haven't met each of them and can't speak to their feelings but i'm asking the general vibe they are representing.

The New Joe Montgomery Birther Pit / Re: LOL TRUMP

As we're finally getting a look at what Jack Smith wanted to redact (he's an amazing clown, but very much in the vein of the majority of #blueanon clowns)

It appears that so far the documents are much to do about nothing, but it's also comforting that Don Trump is apparently mentally competent enough to stand before the man on this, while our sitting POTUS was deemed to be a mentally incapacitated old turd and thus was not capable of standing trial for doing the exact same thing that Trump was alleged to have done.
:D

As I explained to you yesterday, a regular participant on this blog apparently thinks that criticism of Israel is antisemitism.

Using that logic, apparently the most elite universities in our nation are teaming with antisemitic types both in the student populace and the faculty. Such institutions are also generational #blueanon strongholds.

#tisapickle  :blank:

edit: On the flipside other insituations of higher learning appear to be cracking down on anti-Israeli demonstrators and trampling over 1st amendment rights of individuals.

This is truly a holistic lesson in the fascistic tendencies of #blueanon

oh i see. So this really isn't a commentary on the protests or the handling thereof, but rather you having your feelings hurt because - through some doxastic logic gymnastics - you have decided that sprac's accusing you of being antisemitic is because you were critical of Israel (and definitely not something else)?

Its pretty crazy that we zoom down roads at 80mph in a metal tube with no control over what other people are doing...we just assume everyone knows the rules (merging/passing/etc) and somehow it works (mostly).

I always think about this when people are afraid of doing normal crap. I'm like, we are having this conversation while you are driving 80 with a coffee in your hand, meanwhile some ding dong is coming the other way just as fast scrolling instagram. Driving is so insanely dangerous and we don't even think about it that much.

i think its some kind of invincibility fallacy where you're like "eh, i can slam on the brakes or swerve to save myself. I am in complete control of my own destiny"

Nope, not even a little bit. Who is exuding the quintessential #blueanongE/#neocongE behavior here? As you know I'm always several laps down and need things explained to me plainly
You asked about it in another thread. I showed you, you can’t close that gap? #frown

nope, i really can't. sorry if i wasn't clear, when i asked you to speak plainly, that didn't mean vague references to another thread. It would be a lot fewer keystrokes for you to just type which party in this story is the #blueanongE/neocongE. I'm not sure why you're so reticent about this?

if memory serves, we got a gE'r on this blog who specializes in driving a bobcat on camera

clams you ol' so-n-so! I will say though, its nice to see the youth these days actually doing something instead of just staring at their phone and calling an uber to fix their dang appliances! We call that usin' a little elbow grease, me boy.

If you're signing your name in wet concrete, there's no rule against back-dating it

True, there's technically no rule against lacking dignity.

What can I say? I'm a wildcard. I live for kayos (?)

Dax me boy, just so we're all on the same page, who are you indicting by this post? The students/protesting faculty or the administration that gave those kids the boot?

#blogkaren was calling me a racist awhile back as I was calling out Israeli genocide in Gaza. Now college campuses are being taken over by racists (using #blogkaren logic).

What the hell are you on about?

Can't even remember what he posts . . . SMDH

I also can't remember can you remind me, the several laps down guy?

Give yourself some time to mourn and heal, but then it's time to accept this new reality and move forward.

Also, just out of curiosity, do you have a weak, neutral, or strong grip? And by that I mean the position of your left hand (assuming you're a righty) on the club. Is your palm under the club (weak), on the side (neutral) or on top (strong)?

Just my  :th_twocents:  but I have found one of the quickest ways to fix a slice without having to figure out what's goofy with your swing is to move to a stronger grip. The more on top of the club your left hand is the easier it is to roll the clubface over. Heck, you might even start to draw the ball a little bit (which is by far the sexier ball flight, not even an opinion it's just a fact Jack)

You get them sweet karoline black berries?
That’s not the brand but it’s just the organic ones I get from H-E-B
What if I told you...

I think one of the best feelings in golf is when you're on the tee box and a group rolls up behind you and then you proceed to just smash your drive dead central down the fairway.

Also nice: I was golfing on Friday and I had a shot where the ball was just barely outside of a greenside bunker. So my shot is I have to stand inside the bunker, with the ball probably 9" above my feet, and I chip it over the bunker onto a downhill sloping green that might have actually just been concrete painted green, and the ball stopped about 4' from the hole. I didn't realize that I had an audience from a nearby teebox but these guys were watching and were like "wow! Hell of a shot!"

Smashing a drive off the tee box is a great feeling but for me the best feeling is hitting a perfectly flush 7 Iron from the fairway and the ball landing on the green just like you pictured it in your head.

Good call. Esp if it spins back a little bit. Need to use my ballmark fixer tool? Oh hell yeah, let me repair my damage you beautiful delicate green. Roll true me boy

The inverse of this is one of the worst feelings in golf: absolutely chunking a drive with the group behind you watching. I get nervous in these situations, so it becomes a self-fulfilling prophesy often.

Amen, brother. I could be +2 at the turn and if an audience sees me chunk it off the 10th tee...it's gunna be a long back 9

the interesting thing is the mccarthy got kicked out just for funding the govt but johnson completely rolled them, and it looks like the freedom caucus will do nothing more than whine about it.

https://twitter.com/conorsen/status/1781741518664950129

The process of finding McCarthy’s replacement made them look inept. This bill makes them look inept. Perhaps they realize this and don’t want to take another step down the inept ladder.

I have not seen any evidence that "looking like a gigantic idiot" has ever been a deterrent for these cats
