Went to Cancun for a short little vacation from Friday-Monday.  I love all-inclusives.  Just feed me good not great food and alcohol and let me lay by the pool.

It was doubly nice because we won the vacation in a raffle. Can you believe it?

I am a few days from from the same in Turks and Caicos. I haven't been off much since November and I can't wait to eat, drink, sit, and stare at the ocean for 6 days. I would like it even more if I won it in a raffle, but whatevs.

I like Excellence.  It's not the cheapest but has better food than most All-Ins and provides better value than Sandals (unless you scuba a lot).

Yes.  Would recommend this for you Phil.  Stayed at Excellence Playa Mujeres in September.  Was very impressed and is more conducive to big groups than I bet a lot of places are in the hotel zone.

Double check the pockets on your suitcases for any live ammo before you leave.

I was at TAO Beach Dayclub on Sunday and it was pretty fun. Drinks were like $50 a piece, tho.

It's labor day here in Spain, quite a bit more celebrated than the American equivalent. Pretty interesting.

I thought every day was basically Labor Day in Spain?

I've only been in the country a week but thus far it's been the only day with thousands of people people marching through the streets beating drums and singing songs.

You guys know how I always come on here and complain that I spend 2 hours putting everything in the Chase portal only for it to error out or tell me I need to call every time I book and then I have to spend an hour on the phone telling the person the same stuff I just entered into the system and you guys think its way more hilarious than I do???

Well buckle up MFers! The travel booking curse continues!!! Just tried to check in to my flights and one person got the dreaded "passport doesn't match reservation info" error. Called and yep, a birthdate is off on the booking. Fairly certain I didn't tell Chase guy the wrong birthdate!!! Very early flight tomorrow and now we have to visit the counter instead of buzzing right through!!!! Even offered to head to the airport right now to fix and they said no. Guess I'm not sleeping tonight.  :curse:
