great covert ivermectin story

A friend we grew up with saved her dad's life by sneaking ivermectin to her dad hiding in the laptop's keyboard. Story is now being picked up by conservative media, infowars and epoch times.

https://www.infowars.com/posts/woman-reveals-how-she-snuck-ivermectin-into-hospital-to-save-dying-father/

JFC it's horse de-wormer not C4 plastique.  I really doubt a person would have any trouble carrying a box of that crap in to any hospital anywhere and I really don't think anyone in said hospital would even think about stopping a person from taking it if that's what they wanted to do.  Most any hospital employee would do is say "okay, wierdo" and  :buh-bye: outta there.
Also, I’ve been in my share of hospitals and if they’re searching that lady for ANYTHING, it’s probably because she’s on some sort of watchlist as a dangerously unstable person. Which based on the headline seems likely.

TCU is killing it according to this site

Revenue for all women's sports
TCU: $22,829,737
KU: $5,115,592
Oklahoma State: $4,594,558
Iowa State: $2,934,863
KSU: $684,244

Revenue for men's sports other than FB/BB
TCU: $12,089,766
Oklahoma State: $6,243,409
KU: $2,547,981
Iowa State: $579,822
KSU: $418,239

I've never heard of EADA. That's a pretty nifty site.

The actual football and basketball related revenues are pretty even between KU and KSU. But KU appears to be kicking our asses in making money on other sports. KSU made a total of $724,806 in sports other than FB and BB, while KU made $7,309,243.  :Wha:

The anomaly with KU is $133,367,608 for revenue not allocated to any sport. I have no idea what that is but it dwarfs the same line item for Texas ($37,043,295) which is almost the exact same as KSU's ($37,867,002).

Can you really call money for a FB stadium not allocated to a sport?

Honest question without having spent any time looking, how do other school compare? I mean do we utterly suck at getting $$ for vball, tack and field, tennis etc, or is ku wholly above a ton of people here.

Maybe both?

It only lets you do 4 at a time, and I wanted to keep KSU and KU to make sure it was apples to apples:

Revenue for all women's sports
KU: $5,115,592
Oklahoma State: $4,594,558
Iowa State: $2,934,863
KSU: $684,244

They already tore down basically the whole bunker, so I mean they have to build something, right? Sporting and the Chiefs aren’t gonna just loan them a stadium for more than a year.

Do you think all this recent talk about the Chiefs moving out of KCMO is a coincidence? KU is pulling every lever they have in case they need to squat in Arrowhead indefinitely.

7
Why in the world would you think I would know that?

I don't stalk you dumbasses/frat bro Chads around all over this blog, it's the exact opposite.

No one expects you to know that, it's just funny that you'd rather try to prove lib wrong about a completely insignificant point than consider how he could be right about it.

How does this renovation outcome vary so much from what was announced just a couple of months ago?
1.  No renovation at all on the east side of the stadium.
2.  Stalled retail development.
3.  Seating capacity reduced by 5,000 seats more than announced.

Is there like a state statute that mandates KU conduct all its financial affairs as sketchy AF?

Now that you mention it, I do wonder if any misrepresentations as to the scope of the project are a problem with all the government money KU is needing to rely on.

Do they get held legally responsible when one of the independent contractors commits a crime? Was thinking they have in the past but I could be wrong. In this instance it appears they don't know who their customer is and allowed their service to be used in pursuit of fraud that resulted in one of their independent contractors getting killed.
I don’t know how any specific lawsuits have worked out, but I know Uber has said it is a technology company, not a service company. Basically their platform exists to put in touch people who need something with people who are willing to do it for a price. So they’d argue their culpability is the same as Facebook or Match if someone murdered a person they met on there.

It makes some sense but there’s clearly a “come on” factor.

my irl best childhood vehicle memories are road tripping in a 1991 ford aerostar. i just don't know if future grown ups will talk wistfully about the 2024 hyundai palisade. maybe! but idk.

I'm definitely more excited about our minivan than our kids are because of functionality and endless storage (they're on their tablets in car seats regardless). Although our oldest does love that he can decide to ride all by himself in the third row surrounded by luggage.

The New Joe Montgomery Birther Pit / Re: MEGA MAGA

I understand that Maga loves to latch on to buzz words and then make up the rest of the story, but that lady literally was saying that because any idiot can say anything on the internet, and many idiots are magnified like crazy on the internet, their right to say anything on the internet makes it hard to make sure that folks have real actual true information.  Maybe the deep cut shows the lighting go red and her pupils turn into lizard mode while she adds "so we must remove this right and eat brains" or something and I missed it?

Based on the clip that I saw, I think she was saying that the government cannot force social media companies like Twitter and Facebook to crack down on hate speech, misinformation, etc. on their sites even if the public agrees it is a good goal. That type of regulation is up to the companies because of the First Amendment.

That’s an awful lot of responsibility to put on couriers. I don’t even know how that would work for things like UPS.

13
I will say TCU probably has more value to the Big 10 than they do to the Big 12, but between the fact that they are still TCU, and the Big 10 easily could have poached Utah sooner, that report makes zero sense unless those schools were willing to receive bargain basement shares for a long time.

Trump is like the caricature of the detached corporate CEO. Always happy to take the spotlight despite never having anything to say.

I will say it is nice to see Dax not caping up for the lazy TexAgs poster this one time.

81 yr old dude gets phone scammed and decides to shoot the Uber driver the scammer sent to collect the money

I'm not a regular Uber user, how did this scammer manage to get an Uber driver to go to a residence to "pickup a package"?

apparently the passenger can be a parcel and the drop off destination can be the post office or ups store etc. Not sure if that's a common use for uber but man, if i was an uber driver i would absolutely decline what appears to be running someone's errands.

I view being a private postman as more dignified than chauffer.

I like a little break, but that was a bit too much. Great idea for a sketch.
Same. I think the sketch would have been a lot funnier without that much breaking but still enjoyed it overall. Also why the heck did Bevis not have an underbite?

Certainly the thing will go generic right?
After 20 years or whatever. But there are so many big problems with our medical system that can be fixed by legislation that seems like a pretty poor consolidation.
The drug was first approved in 1998(although it’s still not approved for my condition, only 2 medications are and the second was only approved this past Halloween) and I do get the generic version of it.
Are you saying that your cost is for the generic version? Cause if so that doesn’t really seem like a pharmaceutical POS thing. It must be incredibly hard to make if a bunch of competitors aren’t willing to make a version for even half as much.

My kids have been bugging me to play Minecraft and I finally did this weekend and holy crap I had no idea how fun it was.

The shame part is now my wife and I are starting to play it in our own world when the kids go to bed so they don’t mess up our stuff!

Many people are saying Trump fell asleep in court today.  It remains unclear if he's just a feeble, old, low-T loser or if his own legal team drugged him to finally get him to STFU.

Most of court is boring AF. I would fall asleep if I was an 80 year old man for sure.

Precision is needed in professional environments like law or research and totally understandable. Everyday common speech though? Get over yourself imho.  ;)
I have a similar peeve for people who correct something grammar/usage wise despite knowing exactly what you meant, which is really the whole point of language if you think about it.

The best example of this are people who insist that you cannot end a sentence with a preposition (which often makes sentences more convoluted) while simultaneously refusing to use the Oxford comma.

fun news, the Grammar Police have recently issued a ruling that it's actually fine to end a sentence in a preposition. I guess the whole "no ending a sentence in a prepo" comes from latin-based languages, which english is not, so like, its actually fine. Wish they would have issued that ruling when i was in high school and having to write lots of papers.

Which means it was never a rule. That also doesn’t stop a lot of people going around trying to impose the made up crap they learned in 7th grade English class like they’re that Japanese soldier who kept fighting WWII for 30 years after it was over.

D2 also mentioned that his new company is the type to acquire other companies. Which seems true because they have all of these random ass locations on their website. So, another funny part of the call was him mentioning the possibility of the new company acquiring the old company. He said, "and if that happens, it's like, 'COO, you're gone. CFO, gone. Don't need you any more.'" I was thinking to myself, "oh, you've been thinking about this for a while." 100% chance that he suggests this idea to the new company.
for this to come full circle, i hope you work for him and his new company acquires one of the other companies that employ you.  everyone will be asking you if you’ve met the other chum1 yet.   you’ll have to join team meetings with two different laptops and only be able to turn on one camera.  this will turn into a movie.
Crap I really need to see this movie
