Avoiding contact is fine, but I thought there were a few times he got to the second level and was too hesitant/patient instead of using his speed like he has done in the past.
I only recall one play where he got to the second level and he barrel rolled, it was in the fourth quarter. It might not have been apparent on TV but he had two defenders that had him pinned in and he was getting one more yard at best and he was going to pay for that yard.
Also for those of you complaining about him barrel rolling, in the postgame press conference LHC Bill Snyder said they do not work on quarterbacks sliding, which seems insane to me.
