Blind Box has some of the best burnt ends I've ever had. And my pregnant wife has been craving Reubens so we've had a lot of them lately. They had one as a weekly feature, and it was the best we've had during these 8.75 months.

What are the absolute coolest things to do in Minneapolis?
What time of the year?

Early August

Big 12 has only won the tournament 2 of the last 3 years so I can see the concern

We failed the conference not keeping The Str3ak going

Good chance at 3 out of the last 4 years.

The Str3/4k

That's fantastic

Bates City BBQ in Shawnee. What do we think? Do we like it?

Please only respond if you've tried it before.

A pro-move is to bring a bunch of booze. Like, multiple bottles of wine, a 24 pack, a bottle of whiskey, etc. Then at the end of the night when you're packing up you can leave an appropriate amount of booze to pay for dinner.

They didn't provide anything? Take home all of it.
They had burgers and hot dogs? Leave like 6-12 beers.
Pizza? An unopened bottle of wine.
Steaks? An unopened bottle of a more expensive wine.

It looks like the only thing we practiced this season was passing it into Lee even if she was getting blocked almost every time. I feel like we had other players worthy of getting a play called for them a time or two, but maybe I'm wrong.

Dune 2 (IMAX) was some of the most fun I've had at the theater in years.

We're waiting till Monday to see it because basketball but I'm rough ridin' stoked.

If the 3 true freshman stay I will be at a 6/7 for next year's roster.

If DNG stays as well, I will be at a 6.5/7.

My opinion should mean a lot to everyone here, that's why I wanted to let you all know where I stood.

14
If Tang leaves we get Calipari. Easy peasy.

seven is really the only person I trust with this request, but I will ask everyone just as a kind gesture; let me know if Fargo season 5 is worth a watch, I've been staring at it on Hulu and also know that if I watch 10 minutes then I'm committed to the entire season.

Sooo?

I was insanely (in a good way) surprised by the end of the pilot. 14:30 minutes into the second episode, I'm even more insanely (in a good way) surprised. Fargo, the movie and every season of the show so far, is incredible at being unpredictable.

I watched 5 of the movies up for Best Picture this year. Oppenheimer was probably, considering the competition, the easiest movie to predict winning Best Picture in a while.

Barbie was Barbie. Very enjoyable, but no one was going to actually vote for it.

Poor Things reminded me of Black Swan in 2010, low hanging fruit for "psychedelic best picture" nominee that everyone was okay voting for second place, but no one would vote for it for first place.

The Holdovers would be incredible as a play, but I think as a very simple movie, it had the odds stacked against it. But the performances were incredible.

Killers of the Flower Moon was exactly what I expected. It probably won 2nd or 3rd place in every Oscar category.

My wife and I recently stumbled upon a gem of a movie on Netflix titled 'Yesterday'. Has anyone seen this? Unique premise and we really enjoyed it.

We also watched Damsel with Millie Bobby Brown. It was pretty good. It was fine.

Is this the one where they Mandela Effect The Beatles? It's lovely.

@DQ12
what

I was just about to tag him, too!

DQ, scroll back 8ish posts in this thread. I really, really hope you have a (relevant) comment or two regarding Papa Murphy's pizza.

And if it's (irrelevant) I'll love it all the same.

Do any other airlines have free live TV while you're flying or just Delta?

Goddammit nothing pisses me off more than people trying to make abortion talking points by using chicken eggs as an example.

Store bought eggs are not fertilized. They're a bird period. Not a baby bird. Consider them a used tampon.

Maybe the only movies I'm happy I saw in 3D:

Avatar 2

Ready Player One
Hugo

Gravity. But really that was made by the IMAX more than the 3D, imho

Just got back from an all inclusive in Cancun and I highly recommend doing a PAK at one. Location doesn't really matter since you never really leave the place, so anywhere works for me!
Which one did you go to

Majestic in Costa Mujeres.

Sorry to jump in during the Toby Keith talk, but I'll forget to mention this if I don't post it now. I think almost everyone I know on this board would like the new album "Portraits" from Quarters of Change. Shitty band name, but very enjoyable music!

And if you're into Chicat music such as Colony House, the album "Pick-Up Full of Pink Carnations" from The Vaccines might be right up your alley!
