watching the hawk students spiking those goalposts into potter lake was a sight to see. proud of the hawks, the win was definitely worth the field rush/goal post tear down celebrash.

I remember in 2000 after some difficulty people started pulling heavy ropes and chains out of their pants. Like they went into the game fully prepared for this kind of destruction.

I believe at one time K-State was the only school to tear down those "indestructable" goal posts. I may have even heard that the company who makes them, an engineering firm, dropped the warranty after it was done twice.
