KC police are too busy trying to chase down ppl for DUI's/speeding tickets to hit quota vs do anything in the community. Sad.

Maybe in the suburbs. From what I remember of dui stats, kcpd gives out like 2 a day on average. Getting a dui in kcmo is like getting struck by lightning

Link? How tf is there so many DUI/traffic lawyers in this city then?  Either way, they're pretty shitty at preventing murder.

Joco gives them out like candy.

As far as speeding, again, the bored joco police are total nazis on this as well. I do think recently kcmo announced that they were putting more emphasis on traffic violations after several years of record low citations.

Yeah clams is a protected man.  There could be a mass shooter loose on the plaza and he would look at clams like the cop looks at Affleck in his nun mask and simply turn away

Seems logical to me. 8man....ive been in search of this data for awhile.

The retirement pension of the PD I know is a big drain on the budget.... That doesn't seem like thst would be unique to kc though

Sly just said the other day that hiring more cops isn't the answer because they wouldn't be properly trained or something

KCs crime problem wouldn't be fixed with double the officers on the street IMO....but seems we should be more in line with other cities.

Need to find the billy beane of policing. Someone who can do more with less and find some overlooked detectives and officers for a bargain.

Yes, it would.

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.
