This new terminal better be functional af because based on the renderings it's not winning any architecture design awards. I thought SoM would bring some sex to this thing.

Gotta love the "this is good enough for us" KC attitude.

Not a KC thing.  There's an e-lawn orgy going on at KSO about Seth LittreLL.

Atlanta
an exclusive lounge — with free parking — for Amazon executives at one of the busiest airports in the world, Hartsfield-Jackson International

Boston
The city said it would help eligible Amazon employees purchase homes in Boston by providing zero-interest loans to help with down payments.

Chicago
The city attempted to appeal personally to CEO Jeff Bezos, a Star Trek fan, by enlisting actor William Shatner, who portrayed Captain Jim Kirk onscreen, to narrate its proposal video.

Columbus, Ohio
City officials also vowed to create a task force to prevent what Columbus refers to as “an unacceptable murder rate.”

Dallas
Among Dallas’s other offers: a new university called “Amazon U.”

Toronto
Toronto offered Amazon no incentives

Indianapolis
the chief economic development officer for the Indy Chamber, told the Indianapolis Star on Tuesday that the city’s offer did not stack up “compared to what we’ve seen publicly.” “I’m very comfortable in saying we did not get to the top 20 due to a dollar amount that may have been discussed by other communities,”

He would look lost and take a horrible path, then stumble and manage to flip the switch perfectly at the last second.

We finally did Bar K Dog Bar on Saturday: https://www.barkdogbar.com/

This place has to be making a fortune. What an awesome idea. Gotta watch the games, have a few beers, and watch Gator wear his ass out. If you have a pup, take him hear.

Sprint and Allegiant protesting the KCI airport over increased Costs.    SWA will likely make KC their midwest hub.

SWA will likely make KC their midwest hub.

where did you get that?  from the kc business journal quote?  "According to the Kansas City Business Journal, a new modern airport terminal at Kansas City International Airport would serve as the airline’s perfect new mid-continent hub."

The NY times aretivle said something similar and the point of the article wasn't a new kci terminal.

suggesting that a new mci "would serve as the airline’s perfect new mid-continent hub" is far different than swa saying they'd make mci their new hub.
i mean, of course a new airport with new amenities would serve as a perfect hub.

i'm guessing the nyt used sly as the source, versus the kc business journal.  both very credible but not as credible as someone like, SWA, for instance.

also, if swa were smart, they'd ignore allegiant and spirit and offer to cover the cost.  none of this is their money anyway as they're just floating the cash before making it up on the ticket sales
