^^^^^ when using the credit card thread goes wrong

I think it is his fault. He was the one who wanted to use up the SW points.

For real though, if nothing can be done about your flights, dump that 3rd night in belltown unless it's free as part of a multi-night deal or you think you can go to sleep at 6:30pm that night.  Check out Sunday morning instead, dump your stuff at my place, pak all day, and take the light rail towards the airport sometime late Sunday night after which you'd either hang out at the airport for a few hours or crash at an airport hotel.

Thought there was gonna be a chance with today's ownership change that the war w/the Mariners would be over and I could buy our tickets for the games and not protest the whole thing.  Nope!

take them to the locks!!!!   :shooturmouth:

I've been told to check it (them?) out, and I think I have accidentally while getting lost driving, but no idea what I saw or was supposed to see.

I didn't get it and i got a first hand guided tour from a friend that geeks out about them.

I think the Locks are pretty great, but I also commercially fish for salmon, so I would geek out on those things. If you go in the spring/summer/fall you can usually catch fish actually swimming through the fish ladder, which is cool. Any trip to the locks also begs for a trip to the Fisherman's Terminal and a jaunt north to Shilshole Marina and the beach at Golden Gardens. Downtown Ballard is also chill.

Def want to go explore Ballard at some point, even if not this weekend.  I've hit a few spots there but only in conjunction w/going to the fred meyer that way, so I've never had time to park, or better yet not drive there at all, and walk around.

Last time I was there I went to some restaurant/bar right by the stadiums with really good prime rib. You guys should do that. Or not. It really doesn't matter to me. Just be safe.

I will not be eating any wings or even prime rib when there are crabs and oysters available.

That was Gooch and I's first place to go when we got here because it was the only place showing baseball.

It opened in 2014.

I have to go and apologize to the owner because I PI'd him at a sonics hearing when I thought he was a mariners rep.  He was wearing a mariners sweater vest at the time, but was there to speak in support of the arena and his bar is where celebrating any good news on that front takes place.  My bad.

You ain't never been to Ballard proper? Wth, Trim? I can invite my friend to a Chinatown pak, about which I can only say FORT ST. GEORGE. Bush Garden and House of Hong, also good. But I also would like to get to the game early in order to have (roughly) 6 hot dogs and congratulate Hoz on saving that girl's life at the Bieber concert.

Yeah, I've just driven through Ballard at times for other routine trips and stopped on a couple to eat, but never gone there and taken it all in with nothing to get back to quickly.

Me and zombie KK did Fort St. George.  It was incredible.  Also took RDrils through there on an afternoon she was passing through to go see family down south.

I still don't know what to do about the game.  The mariners took their most definitive crap yet on the sonics wednesday, and then came out the next day having finalized a scheduling agreement that should clear the arena's path.

I can tell I'm gonna be hungover for the next 3 days.  Bear's periscope from last night is probably still up.
