On the one hand, it's better if the best QB we have is also young. OTOH, I'll always have a soft spot in my heart for Delton and hope he gets some moments to help the team this year.

i had warmed up to the idea of delton starting (he's fast!) but the upside of a stud armed sophomore starting is exciting too. i just hope we run an offense that suits him.

The bowl game was a bit of a downer, but still nice to know Delton is available to bail us out if we can't get the passing game going.

And I simply don't see Delton starting the majority of our games even if he is the better QB. He's nowhere near Klein levels of durability even though that's exactly how our coaching staff has been using him.

From just a brain damage perspective, I imagine it'll be Skylar starting the first 2, Delton the next 2, whoever the 3rd string is the next 2, a white WR starting the next 2 or 3, back to Skylar for the next 1 or 2, and back to white WR for whatever's left.

I always thought Skylar had more upside, but games like the bowl game are probably going to happen, and a guy like Delton will be needed. He did afterall pretty well vs OU, TT until he got hurt, and of course the bowl game. I bet Delton will play in every game regardless if Skylar starts them all.
