Distant family friend. Took selfie of herself after crying

Quote
This is the face of grief. It's an unfiltered, unposed reality. It's a photo of me, after a really bad bout of grief last night. I took it and am posting it, not so you can feel bad for me, but so you can see the real face of immeasurable loss. I took it and share it, only so you can see it in others, recognize it and help them.
Pain is harsh. It is ugly. It is real. It is in us all, and it is all around us. Pay attention. See the tears that wash the mascara away, at the end of each day. See the face, without the gorgeous filters. See the deep pain, passing itself off with flashing smiles and putting itself back together, every morning, as it faces yet another, long day. See the dark etching that agony has done, under the eyes and through the skin. See the blood drained, from mouths that are exhausted from forcing fake happy all day.
See it and don't turn it away.

what was the trigger?  I mean I've been through close suicides, losing a child, etc., but I can't ever imagine posting something like that.

probably got dumped

Sometimes the world could just use some common sense.
I have a new (7 month old) Samsung front loading washing machine. The door latch is broken. The machine won't work because the door won't latch. I need a new receiving latch. That is it. However!! They will not come until we unstack the washer/dryer. It's gas. That involves a plumber and removing the dryer from the room (or the house for that matter!) No, they won't even come look.
All because a little plastic part broke off.
I could cut the power to the washer... I could cut the power to the house!!
Common sense people. Common sense.

common sense people

I had a similar problem with my Samsung washer. Not the common sense people part of it, but the door latch constantly broke and I had to keep fixing it. Samsung appliances are pieces of crap.

I knew my cappuccino tasted weird. I was enjoying the caramel drizzle that I could actually detect... but something was off. I'm glad I only sipped half of it before realizing there was no espresso in it!!

Just got this in the Facebook messager from a FB Friend.

Quote
President Trump is asking everyone to forward this email to a minimum of 20 people, and to ask that each of those do likewise.

In three days, most people in the United States will have the message. This is clearly an amazing idea that must be passed around. Stand by for the push back from THE SWAMP

THE TRUMP RULE:
Let's see if congress understands what people pressure is all about.

Salary of retired US Presidents .. . . . . $180,000 FOR LIFE.

Salary of House/Senate members .. . . $174,000 FOR LIFE

This is stupid

Salary of Speaker of the House .. . . . . $223,500 FOR LIFE.

This is really stupid

Salary of Majority / Minority Leaders . . $193,400 FOR LIFE.

Average Salary of a teacher . . .. . . . .. . . . . .. .$40,065

Average Salary of a deployed Soldier . . .. . . .. $38,000

Here's where the cuts should be made!

Congressional Reform Act of 2017

1. No Tenure / No Pension. A Congressman / woman collects a salary while in office and receives no pay when they're out of office.

2. Congress (past, present, & future) participates in Social Security.

All funds in the Congressional retirement fund move to the Social Security system immediately. All future funds flow into the Social Security system, and Congress participates with the American people. It may not be used for any other purpose.

3. Congress can purchase their own retirement plan, just as all Americans do.

4. Congress will no longer vote themselves a pay raise. Congressional pay will rise by the lower of CPI or 3%.

5. Congress loses their current health care system and participates in the same health care system as the American people.

6. Congress must equally abide by all laws they impose on the American people.

7. All contracts with past and present Congressmen/women are void effective 7/1/17. The American people did not make this contract with Congressmen/women.

Congress made all these contracts for themselves. Serving in Congress is an honor, not a career. The Founding Fathers envisioned citizen legislators, so ours should serve their term(s), then go home and go back to work.

TRUMP, in a recent interview with CNBC, offers one of the best quotes about the debt ceiling: "I could end the deficit in five minutes," he told CNBC. "You just pass a law that says that anytime there is a deficit of more than 3% of GDP, all sitting members of Congress are ineligible for re-election".

The 26th Amendment ( granting the right to vote for 18 year-olds ) took only three months and eight days to be ratified! Why? Simple! The people demanded it. That was in 1971 - before computers, e-mail, cell phones, etc.

Of the 27 amendments to the Constitution, seven (7) took one (1) year or less to become the law of the land - all because of public pressure.

Trump is asking each addressee to forward this email to a minimum of twenty people on their address list; in turn ask each of those to do likewise.

In three days, most people in The United States of America will have the message. This is one idea that really should be passed around.
If each person contacts a minimum of twenty people, then it will only take three days for most people in the U.S. to receive the message. It's time!
Please forward if you favor theses changes.

Mrs. Gooch, you just got the message out to way more than 20 people minimum. I mean, there are at least 25 people that read this blog.

Trump thanks you.

Sounds like an awful nursing gig if you don't have 4 days off a week.

Democrats suck because they don’t know history.
What Democrats know about history is that everyone born before them is a racist, and that’s that. We cannot learn from the past because everyone in the past was a racist. The Founding Fathers? Racists. And if you like them, you’re a racist

So once again I am going to vent....stood in line at Kwick Shop for over 10 minutes while 3 different people in front of me proceeded to buy donuts, candy bars, 2 litters of pop, bags of candy, AND ENERGY DRINKS, THEN PULLED OUT THEIR FOOD STAMP CARD TO PAY!!! In total it was between the 3,$145 worth of CRAP!!
Then they all pulled out cash from their wallets to buy smokes and lottery tickets!! THIS IS BULL crap, I don't mind my tax dollars paying for real food for kids but come on really. I couldn't hold back and I let my thoughts leave my lips and said just what I wrote above to them......needless to say it got heated and I was asked to leave....I was asked to leave because I made a statement to the dead beats who all had newer cars then myself, nicer clothes then myself, and I didn't see a kid in sight of any of them. Just wait.... it gets better...the 24 yr old man driving a brand new Ford Diesel Truck on 35" tires called the cops because I was "harassing" him. The cop shop is across the alley so took about 1 minute for them to respond. The "Mooch" explained his side and how I hurt his feelings and then Myself and the other 4 actual paying customers explained my statements......The officer looked at "THE MOOCH" and told him to be on his way and that he now had his information and would be getting a copy of the receipt and video of what else he bought and what he drove and be hand delivering it to the SRS investigators tomorrow to make sure he was actually qualified for assistance!!! He then looked at myself and apologized and said he feels the same way and for me to have at good night!
Now if my actions offend you by reading this please do me a favor and do me the honor of deleting yourself from Facebook, because all it tells me is that you yourself are one of the deadbeats that bleed the damn system dry for people that actually need it and you should be ashamed of yourself!!! OK RANT OVER!!
