love the "story" behind his recruitment...apparently oscar just told his assistants to get the best available rebounder in the country...since it's that easy apprently, he should try that with "best available scorer" and "best available passer" next year...

Levi should be 4th in minutes and it shouldn't be close.

I came away really impressed with him. It's early but he looked like he belongs on the court.

There will be a Trice 30 for 30 by the end of the year. Barry has the students cheer for him when he shoot free throws because the quiet throws him off so we all clap and cheer for him and he shot his free throws far better when we were cheering than when we weren't. It's very odd behavior but i guess i'll cheer for him if that's what it takes for him to nail his free throws.

I always remember shitty shooting big when I was in school. His free throws were a clang fest.

I'll never forget a fast break in 91-92. He caught the ball at half court and drove the basket. Took off from free throw line. Defender put up a tent and built a campfire waiting on him. I don't think there's ever been a more obvious charge in basketball.

Trice hit 35 of 59 free throws at Moberly his freshman year for 59.3%. His form is not bad. You can not judge how a juco player shoots free throws til at least half way through the season and some times longer. Trice was so excited he was lucky to hit the rim in the first game. Didn't even remember to use a pre shot routine.
You'll have to wait a while to determine if he can make free throws.

Unfortunately, Trice can't finish at the rim or through contact. Great rebounder, tho.
