Kansas State Football / Re: How good is Will Howard???
« on: September 12, 2021, 01:28:44 AM »
They need to not ever play him again at QB. If he really is our #2 it’s a pretty damning indictment on the coaches.

I can dislike the kid only so much (which is already alot), but I also didn't need to see him play today to know that since we found out how bad he is last year. However I am wildly concerned with the coaching staffs decision making of letting players like Howard and Elder even see the field.

They will get rid of him one way or another, you have to know that.

This is certainly true. They can't (and shouldn't) expel him for this but they will certainly try to find something so they can.

I would bet he'll get "kicked off campus" but allowed to finish his schooling with K-State OnlineTM

I know you're thinking it too:

-Dean isnt actually hurt
-Waiting to use Mawien when he is really needs to
-Flash McGuirl and then make it look like it was just a freak game

He's getting smarter. This ain't the end of it.

Everyone is falling in love with Diarra.  Something fun to watch.

He still turns the ball over too much for me to love him. Though, experience will fix his TO issues.

Jevon Thomas, but more athletic

I would rather add Boise State.

Dont do this to me KK

My man is allegedly building a house here in MHK. (per alleged contractors building the house) [idk if luked, but still a fun lil rumor]

I'll say it again just for [you], so we can all agree.  We need UCF & USF for our conference.  This would put us in the second largest recruiting state in the NCAA.  We would have teams in SEC, ACC, AAC, BIG 10 and of course Big XII Texas.  At that point in time we could publicize that we are truly the BIG XII.  This will not only improve recruiting, but help with our network contract in a few years.  Also would mostly guarantee our future, with a twelve team conference that may end up with the largest TV following in the country.

if anyone is worried about the Florida teams, I do believe they are both serious about their football programs.   Look at the investment they both have made in their programs.  They both have quality coaches, and have had very good coaches.  They are doing this with a network contract that is about a tenth of what the Big XII deliverers.

USF, yes
UCF- NOT SO FAST MY FRIEND

But I have been and always will be a proponent for the following (in case y'all forgot):
-Pitt
-Cinncy (was an option, probs not anymore. AAC is too strong, especially w/basketball [will be a new power conference])
-Memphis (See Cinncy)
-Houston (See Memphis)

Pitt is my ride or die fo sho. They would envy to revive that WVU rivalry and the Big 12 would essentially own that market. But if we get Pitt, Cinncy is a must too. Eff any teams west of the central time zone and eff any of yous if you think the B12 should add any western teams.

We need LBs, we signed 0 so far, and no one thinks we're getting Honas.

Glad we got a lot of guys for both lines though.
Crystal Ball says were 100% for Jacoby Simpson.

Holcombe will be a LB
highly doubt this.
Justify yourself

Considering as of now we will have either two or three QBs on the roster with Holcombe, it seems rather silly to move him. It's safe to say the coaches never see Hunter Hall playing quarterback, considering they didn't let him do it when he literally was the only one on the roster.

A 6'4 230+ player who is sitting behind Thompson, in addition to be shorthanded at LB. Its not beneath this coaching staff to convert a QB to another position

I simply cannot wrap my head around this gay couple wanting to force a guy diametrically opposed to their entire way of life to sell them something they can buy any other place.

It is such a bizarre premise.

Dude is really good at making cakes

I think the guy who stands above all is [you].   :emawkid:

I think [you] would be too. If it were me I'd run that play where we act like we're gonna pass and then the quarterback runs between the tackle and guard on the right side and gets the shizzle knocked out of him. Every play.

Hard pass.

That a-hole wouldn't read the whole play book and end up calling repeats of plays ran 2 series previous.

 :fatty:

As long as [you] doesn't give his qb free reign to check into the same play on every down I could get behind it.

No sir. He rules with an iron fist, and no checking. (fact!)  Aint no stoppin this train!

Which may be worse. He make bad decisions more often than good ones. (also fact!)

Fake news

My coaching philosophy:

1. Play to win (duh)
2. Multi-dimensional offense, can operate at a fast pace and slow pace efficiently
3. Heck of a lot of scoring (yards is nice too)
4. Have a QB that can run occasionally, but not so much where i need 2 other quarterbacks to get hurt to figure that out
5. At least one WR over 6'2 that gets EZ jump balls
6. One RB that is shifty and fast and another big ass RB that would injure at least one defender each play
7. A TE that is going to catch the ball like anytime its 3rd down
8. An O-line that doesnt suck
9. TD celebrations
10. Trick plays
11. Actually going on 4th down from time to time
*BONUS*
12. a fullback that is not Winston Dimel

24
They have a bunch of super athletic dudes that can/are played at multiple positions. They also don't have people with real basketball size. The team can move the ball and score a lot (only if the baskets go). Teams that play fundamental basketball well will against this.

You can see this with how Florida lost last night.
