Went to Cancun for a short little vacation from Friday-Monday.  I love all-inclusives.  Just feed me good not great food and alcohol and let me lay by the pool.

It was doubly nice because we won the vacation in a raffle. Can you believe it?

I'm in search for one for a big group adults only. Recommend?

How do you get YT videos to Embiid?

I was posting from a PC so I just copied the full link from youtube.com vs youtu.be

A group of 15-20 high schoolers will be in KC this summer.  What do you recommend for a fun afternoon or evening activity?  Where should they eat?  Best BBQ for a group that size?  Staying near Crown Center so close to there is a plus.

Ice house in P&L. wheel is a good idea. College Basketball Experience. NLBM. rent scooters and annoy the eff out of me is what most do.

I'm going to my first powercat auction tomorrow. What do I expect?

Didn't see a trip for 3 to Ireland game going for almost double that of a trip for 4 to the Masters ($200k vs. $115k)

Do you guys think the bills just couldn't financially afford a first round pick?
Yeah am I mistaken in thinking they didn't get any extra picks while trading back twice? That can't be right

I think they are the NFL version of a cuck (am I using that right?) when it comes to the Chiefs

Can someone recommend a plumber/handyman in the KC area for a relatively simple job? Just need the faucet in my kitchen sink replaced but I can't get the job done because I'm a beta city boi. I've replaced a bathroom faucet but this one may need to be sawed off since the "Anchors" that secure the faucet to the sink are "sealed" or something..cant get em off.

Vielhauer plumbing has been my go to for quite some time.  They get to us quick and are inexpensive.

I redid my master bath a few years ago and didn’t want to mess with setting my own shower base. I have another plumber I have worked with a lot as well. I had both bid the job and Vielhauer was half the price and did great. They have done quite a bit of small stuff for me. 10/10

Noted! I need some small crap done like flip where the disposal is and the hot/cold are the wrong way so just going to buy a new kitchen faucet and have them do all that at once.

had these dudes out to bid what I needed and was pleasantly surprised. Thanks for the tip!

Fox and pearl brunch is back and it's magnificent

Had this again yesterday and every body at the table loved it. They do annoying things there though. Someone wanted ketchup for their breakfast potatoes and they said they don't have ketchup. Like wtf have ketchup dorks. They serve fries.

Second we split their potted cheese which didn't come with enough bread, so got more and charged 5 bucks for a side of bread. I mean come on, that's a third of the dish price.

Still great place I'll recommend to everybody and will go back just dumb restaurant things imo

Is this the BBQ brunch thing or something else?

non-bbq, just normal brunch

also, ponaks was the very first establishment to put boulevard beer on tap.  it was and still is, their pale ale.

Pale ale isn't an IPA but yeah they were first
lol what does this even mean?

I have no idea how I read IPA anywhere in that post. Long weekend I guess.

A lot of you owe Ponaks an apology

I'll be happy to sit with these dissenters and walk them through proper ponaks ordering and change their lives.

Ponaks is what all the boomers remember going to the boulevard to have margs and tacos in the 70's and 80's and it was THE GOOD STUFF.

Manny's is kind of the same.

Yeah it has no resemblance to actual Mexican food but it has its place in tex mex genre. Their salsa is disgusting for example. I've got my rotation of 10 ala carte items I bounce between as I suck down marg pitchers

I'm going to try Ponaks today for lunch  :D

One of my first times at Ponaks was a work lunch. I had just graduated. I had never and will never be more pak'd at work. If it was a real company like 5 of us would have been canned that day.

I'm there about every 10 days if someone is looking to kill me, that would be the place to start.

I'm going to Portland, Maine and Boston over Memorial Day. Taking Amtrak between the two.

Do this in ME. https://www.luckycatch.com/

Buy a lobster from them and you walk it to it's death to a restaurant on the dock and eat it.

I’m going next weekend for the 4th time since June.

all work, all fun? i scrapped March Maddness after the cats failed to make it into the dance. Going in a month for work, excited to see Fountainbleau finally open

All fun. I found a betting slip I put on the Chiefs from last June for $750 that I completely forgot about, so have fun money waiting for me when I get there.

love the come back ticket cash
