1/4 of Pizza Hut turned into The Goose. It's very weird.

Yeah, I saw on the Goose's webpage that it serves Pizza Hut food.  strange.

when the purple pig first opened by MTC, they served beer out of these approx foot tall purple plastic megaphones that had a white lid on the bottom to hold the beer in, when you were done you could keep it and bring it to games, best idea ever.

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

It is inside pizza hut, not even a separate place.

That's so bizarre.  I'd have assumed that would violate the franchisee agreement.  I mean, when have you ever gone into a chain franchise and seen a liquor station in the same building?  "Hola, welcome to Taco Bell.  Hello, I'll have two double decker tacos, a nacho supreme (fire sauce), a shot of patron, and some cinnasticks."

Remember when Shotz existed, briefly? Gawd. Horrible name, horrible bar, no customers. Just insanely bad. Really fun to go to on a Tuesday night though because they paid TrustTheDust to DJamer there and the place was always deserted so we just made him play Journey while we saw who could crab walk across the entirety of the bar fastest.

 :dubious:

The Wet Bandits rec basketball team celebrated several victories there this year.  It is weird, but not particularly gay.

That's what their sign says. But their employees close it down at 1am every Friday and Saturday night. Trust me on this.

What was that bar in like '02 that burnt down? It was like a safari themed bar or something. I remember I was all  :sdeek:

One of my fondest mems was seeing 2 Skinny J's at Silverados then getting weird with them after the show.  :D

Safari Jacks was in the building that burned down, but the bar was called Aggie Station when it burned down.  I think it was called Gilligan's then became Safari Jacks (neither were popular) and had huge fake jungle creatures and palm tree in there.  There used to be a house on Bluemont that had the Safari Jacks sign tacked up on their balcony/ front porch.

Aggie Station was cool from what I remember.

Before Safari Jack's and Aggie Station it was the original Lucky Brewgrille.

The best frat bar in the Ville, the owner really liked coke and one of the bartenders that I remember looked like a young Peter North, could have been Pissclams.

no way man, i was bartending at 12th St

I was bartending at Aggie Station when it burned down.  We had Can I Get An Application Pub Crawl while it was burning.

what was the name of the older dude that bar tended there.  given I was 21 but he seemed like he was at least 30, definitely not a student.
