French food is boring and too much work to find at a decent price.
A bunch of french food takes a lot of time to cook. Sauces, braises, etc. Lots of labor and resource allocation compared to a lot of other cuisines. That said, I love it. It is my favorite to cook.
If I ever come back I'll probably just get more baguettes and meat and cheese and wine from a grocery store and eat in parks.
Portland is fun especially if you like wine and/or beer... Then amtrak up to Seattle, enjoy that then fly out of Seattle.

It is my favorite to cook.I also noticed big differences in prices getting things to go vs. sitting down to eat.Another problem is yelp and tripadvisor suck because of so many idiot tourists. Also I'm staying in a very touristy area.If I ever come back I'll probably just get more baguettes and meat and cheese and wine from a grocery store and eat in parks.
fly to providence and drive out to the cape, it's great that time of year
