I'm not really a fan of any NBA team, but how amazing a nickname is Grizzlies? I mean it's kinda dumb for Memphis to keep the name (not quite as bad as Utah "Jazz" or LA "Lakers", but still), but man, Gizzly bears are just increds.

OKC has zero bigs that can score...WTH is Perkins doing out there?  No body, other than KD and Westbrook, are even a threat.  Even if someone could go for 15-20 pts, that would take pressure off of those 2.  OKC is going down.

That's my point about the names. NBA teams are dumb about keeping names when they move. Imagine if we had the Kansas City Texans, Baltimore Browns, Washington Expos, Colorado Nordiques, or New Jersey Rockies :Yuck:

Grizzlies works well for this particular Memphis team because that's also a good adjective for their style of play.

Utah Jazz is the dumbest nickname in all of sports. Everyone recognizes this yet no one does anything about it year after year. If New Orleans and Charlotte were intelligent enough to figure out who should have Hornets then surely Utah and NOLA can figure this out too...

I usually would not agree but pretty much every game, save the Miami series, has been fantastic so far.

It's weird how the ratings don't reflect this.  Oh well, it's a new sport, the country just isn't use to it yet.   It'll catch on, give it time.

I like Curry.  He seems likable.  He seems to like what he is doing, which is likable.
