you can see it a lot better from the on-field camera they show on the LHC Bill Snyder show.  somebody with premium k-stateo.tv needs to pull up the LHC Bill Snyder show and make a gif.

Kansas State Football / seriously. who's calling the rough ridin' shots?
« on: September 22, 2013, 07:09:53 PM »
I want to know who's calling plays and making qb sub decisions.  we deserve to know.  somebody in the media needs to get in his rough ridin' face and demand answers.

media stud: coach, you've mentioned in every post game press conference that you've misused daniel sams by either not playing him enough or not calling the right plays for him.  specifically, after texas, you spoke of how you needed to call more passing plays.  so who's calling the plays?

snyder: well, by and large herp derp

media stud: do you have a plan in place moving forward to make sure daniel gets in the game more and is allowed to pass?  on numerous occasions you've spoken highly of his passing ability, yet he's only thrown 4 passes all year and completed 3 of them.

sure doesn't seem that difficult.  I'm sure he'd dance around the answers but somebody needs to take him to task.

Quote
Because he hadn’t been playing golf regularly of late, Tyler Cummins figured he needed to get some competitive rounds in before he took a crack at the Kansas Amateur Match Play Championship next week.

Playing in the Lawrence Amateur Golf Association’s city championship this weekend seemed as good a way as any. And though Cummins just hoped for a warm-up, he instead caught fire. His round of 74 Sunday at Lawrence Country Club allowed the former Kansas State University golfer to win the LAGA title by eight strokes, with a two-day total of 141. William Gantz and Kit Grove tied for second (149), and Ryley Haas placed fourth (151).

  btw, kit grove is a former ku golfer and ku assistant golf coach and plays at lcc no less than three days a week.

this deserves its own thread.

somebody tell me wtf to do. there's like a million multiplayer options and I don't know where to start. then give me your gamer tags and tell me how to find you so we can kill people as a team and stuff. talk to me like I'm 50 cause I'm new to this and haven't played multiplayer since the original modern warfare and I've never played multiplayer on xbox.

So I'm taking the wife for a couple days for our anniversary.  We're staying at the Hilton Chicago (with my Gold Elite perks  :gocho: ) and already have reservations at Joe's (stone crab and bone-in filets  :fatty: ).  What else should we do?

What's the best place to spa downtown?  Looks like maybe mySpa at the Fairmont or the spa at Trump.  Sound right? Any others I should look at?

I'm thinking about maybe one of those touristy cruises.  I've been to Chicago a few times but I've never been on one of those and they kind of look cool.  Any suggestions?  I don't want to be crammed in with a bunch of other smelly tourists, so having plenty of room to maybe walk around the deck would be a big bonus.

What's the best place to eat dinner on the Navy Pier?  Was thinking of maybe going casual and eating at Harry Caray's Tavern.  How's the food there?

Keep in mind we're not renting a car so everything will need to be relatively close to downtown.

Thanks for you input everyone!  :D

On 810 this morning basically confirmed everything we fear most about Weber...but supports the hire.  Said that oscar Weber is a "super, super, quality human being" and "will be a very good long term hire."  He then talked about all the success he had the first few years at Illinois.  Amazingly, he made the comment not 3 minutes later that the jury is still out on Frank Haith because those aren't his players.     :curse:

Has he always been a Fake Sugar Dick (WARNING, NOT THE REAL SUGAR DICK!)?

Essentially Flyertalk / F3/FFF/Fatty line of T-Shirts
« on: March 05, 2012, 08:17:06 AM »
I know there's about a gazillion threads like this already, but didn't really know where to put it.  I think there would be some great potential for a "Fatty" line of T-shirts with his quotes and other stuff inspired by his posts.  Just think about all the great quotes we've revisited in the last couple of days.  Obviously most of them would be KSU, but you could even do other schools.  You could have a T-Shirt recommendation thread for ideas.  I mean most of us are completely Fake Sugar Dick (WARNING, NOT THE REAL SUGAR DICK!) but you might get a couple good ideas.  Just make them purple and putt FATTY on all of them.  Proceeds go to his memorial fund.  I'd buy the crap out of those shirts.

I mean, we just beat the number 10 team and the number 3 team in the nation ON THE ROAD.  Those are facts.  I would probably put us at 5, right above KU (who couldn't beat MU in Columbia, BTW).  Feels good.  :bball:

If this doesn't make your blood boil, you don't have a pulse.  It's everything that's wrong with Washington and politics in general.

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/robert-weissman/stock-act-eric-cantor-insider-trading_b_1274155.html

On a side note, Cantor and Grassley must need wheelbarrows to haul around their balls.  Just amazing. I mean, Cantor must be making hundreds of thousands off of "political intelligence", right?  Why else would he commit political suicide like this?
