this is definitely the highest quality meme I've seen there
The Waldo Facebook group is snoozeville and everyone appears to be extremely stupid.
QuoteI bought a case of Boulevard Pale Ale cans by accident. I meant to get Wheat but just wasn't paying attention. Is anyone able/willing to trade me their Wheat for my Pale Ale? Hurry, because although I don't *love* Pale Ale, I've already finished three cans. =)

this large men’s slipper was in the middle of my backyard alone without its mate - in order to get there it needed to go over one of three fences or my roof - it seems like a nice slipper it is now at the end of my driveway
I don’t know if you can help me with this, but here goes: I have new neighbors who have been drilling, sawing, hammering, blasting music, and yelling at each other and their workers in their backyard for a few WEEKS now, usually seven days a week, often from morning until sundown. I am losing my mind. I’m currently home all the time (sheltering in place) and it is extremely difficult to get work done with the relentless noise, and it’s not like I can go to the library or to a cafe to work. THERE IS NO ESCAPE. When I’m not working, I can’t even enjoy just reading a book or a phone call with family. Much-needed naps, especially when I have migraines, are out of the question with all the drilling, sawing, and hammering, even with a pillow over my head. I am using a white noise machine and fan but that doesn’t seem to help. In desperation, I spent a small fortune on noise-canceling headphones, but I have a Eustachian tube disorder, so I can’t keep anything on or in my ears for any length of time. I wouldn’t dare sit on my patio because obviously that would make the noise even more unbearable, so instead I stay inside with all windows shut, heavy curtains drawn (in the hope they will help dampen noise a little), white noise or calming music playing, and it STILL sounds like they are yelling and hammering in my living room. It appears they (a young couple and a variety of workers and day laborers that come and go) are building shelves and furniture like desks and tables and perhaps crossfit boxes. The guy and his workers communicate by yelling to each other over loud music. The couple argues frequently, and since I can unfortunately hear EVERY SINGLE WORD they shout at each other, I know they both have terrible tempers, so I’m worried they will unleash their rage at me if I ask them to keep it down. I emailed Sarah XXXX, the public information officer for XXXXX, over a week ago, but haven’t yet received a reply. I very reluctantly called the XPD non-emergency number (I truly hate to bother them- they have much more important things to deal with) and was told by the dispatcher that the noise is permissible in XXXXX, even on Sundays. I asked a few neighbors in close proximity for advice, and some said they are also upset about the noise but they just hope or assume it will be over soon. Another neighbor pointed out that it is indeed terribly unpleasant, but that all homeowners make construction noise at one time or another. I have lived here for over 15 years and have never had a neighbor this inconsiderate (I’ve been very fortunate, I know). Another neighbor said he asked them to turn down the music and it led to an uncomfortable confrontation and did not help the situation. It’s pretty obvious these new neighbors don’t give a damn about making life miserable for everyone else. So, folks, do I just have to grin and bear it? Drink myself into a stupor from morning till night so I won’t care anymore? This is such a scary and stressful time for all of us, so I realize I’m probably more disturbed by this than I would normally be if I weren’t home ALL THE TIME and worried about the future and all the uncertainty, etc.
I need some help from the hive-mind. A few months ago we hired a contractor to build a chicken coop. It was supposed to be finished a few weeks ago, but the contractor ran behind in the build, and now we're all on lockdown, so it's not finished. It's missing an entry opening from the coop to the run, a ladder, and over the last few weeks the entire structure has started to warp and lean. All but the last 100 (due upon completion) has been paid. We reached out to the contractor but he has no intention of coming to finish the job and now wants more money to correct the issue with the warping (but he is still advertising his services to others). As of right now we cannot open the interior door, one of the exterior doors is sticking, we need a hole cut for the chickens to access the coop and we need a ladder as well as some help straightening the whole thing out to make it level and prevent the warp from worsening. I'm not inclined to hire him to continue as it's been a frustrating process and I'm not confident in his ability to fix anything at this point. Nor do I want to send him more money that we have already paid at this point (nearly $2000).Does anyone know a reliable contractor who might be able to fix these issues? We can guarantee that no one else would be anywhere in proximity during the fixes and I am happy to provide a mask, gloves and anything else that might be needed. Our chicks are now 4 weeks old and we need the coop soon, otherwise we're going to have six house-chickens running around with the kids and the dog.
Our only dispensary in town is not social distancing...on freaking 4/20. People are crowding next to each other, less than one foot apart, at the counters. There are x's marked on the floors, people aren't standing on them, and the security guards aren't enforcing social distancing. I asked to speak to the manager (yes, I went full Karen) and she said the ordinance says that if people are standing in line, like at the pharmacy, they don't have to social distance. I told her that sounds incorrect. She said if I was uncomfortable, I could go stand in the corner and they would come to me. I told her everyone is uncomfortable because this puts people in a dangerous situation. She disagreed. I will never be back because I refuse to support businesses that knowingly endanger our community. If you pay them a visit today, please let them know if you're uncomfortable with their social distancing, or lack thereof. UPDATE: I spoke to a very nice officer who said he would go speak to them and explain the ordinance. Yay XPD!
Oh, I think she'll bee back to the only dispensary in town.
Who here owns a dehumidifier??
What a dumb bitch
I don't know if you're mocking me or him.
