Sep 24 Missouri State - W
Oct 1 @West Virginia - L
Oct 8 Texas Tech - W

Nov 19 @Baylor - ???
Nov 26 Kansas - W
Dec 3 @TCU - L
Knowing nothing about the other teams' outlooks for 2016 and just going off name, 5-7 or 6-6 depending on how many Briles players Baylor loses by 11/19. I'll come back to this in August.
I feel like I've heard Baylor's losing a lot after all and might suck. True?
I saw Baylor got picked 4th in that poll the other day and is solidly in that 4-6 pack, so I'm giving the 'cats an L in that game. 5-7.
Tech will be the big home W that makes for promotional material until the 2017 season.

You're right, I changed it to 3 locks.

In my opinion, 3 wins is more likely than 7.
-
6 wins
FAU
MSU
TTU
ISU
OSU
KU
-
I think 7 wins is more likely than 3.
I think Stanford, OU, TCU and OSU are going to be very difficult games to win.
I think Baylor is a toss up.
I think the rest we have a clear advantage in the rest, with Tech being the best QB.
Our D and QB will be significantly better, two huge keys.
GO CATS!

7-5
I mentioned in a previous thread, but we have the key pieces of last years team back plus better QB play, Pringle, more experienced Shelley and healthy Barnett. I assume our OL will be worse but hopefully RB improvement will offset that some.
I also think OSU is overrated and UT is underrated going into the season.

Pessimist.

I don't think UT is ready to win in BSFS so we get 6
-
I think we might shock a team or two but could also fall flat on our face against FAU or some other dolt like ISU
-
Based on players, this teams defense has a possible-to-real chance of maybe being one of the roughly top 3 units in the Big 12 this fall, if healthy.
If this can maybe happen, and the offense is kind of efficient there's a possibility of roughly 3-9 wins available.
-
FWIW, ESPN says we upset TCU in the finale to get to 6-6. Record at the bottom is a typo. Wins vs. FAU, MSU, Tech, OSU, KU and TCU. Worst loss @ISU.

Why do people think we're beating tech?
-

Kellis has us at 8 too. So  you scotty boy. :shakesfist:
At Stanford: Big loss
Florida Atlantic: Easy win
Missouri State: Easy win
at West Virginia: Loss
Texas Tech: Win
at Oklahoma: Big Loss
Texas: Win
at Iowa State: Win
Oklahoma State: Nail-biter win
at Baylor: Win
Kansas: Easy win
at TCU: Loss
So I’ve (optimistically) got the Wildcats going 8-4. The defense is experienced enough to make it happen, and the offense should be better (even with question marks at several positions). But that’s not factoring in injuries.

Kellis and I are basically best friends but he is a gd idiot. Zero chance we beat Baylor, who will finish in the top third of the conference, Also Texas Tech and OSU? idts

no chance we beat Tech or OSU even with those at home if we lose to Iowa State.

I see you guys winning between 4-7 games.
We kick your ass this year though.

Getting outta Morgantown with a win the the B12 opener could be a really nice springboard, but I'm not banking on it. Too many toss-ups/unknowns to guess individual games, but I'll say 7-5. Nothing between 5-7 and 8-4 would shock me, though.

I don't think WVU has ever beaten us, so wtf is going on here.

I can't imagine that Baylor will be any good this season

but maybe!
-
I can't imagine that Baylor will be any good this season
Sean Snyder could probably coach that amount of talent to at least 9 wins. They'll still be in the mix of things.
-
Are there any known good offensive groups? Seems like everything is average at best of completely unknown. Probably still sneak in 6 wins.
-
losing to Flood Aggie the year after Proud Paul would be all of the lolz. Lots of :shakesfist:, but also lolz.
-
Are there any known good offensive groups?
Nope
-
Shutdown Fullcast / EDSBS / SBnation guys think we will suck and Snyder will retire.
but what do they know?
-
I don't really consider those guys college football experts. More like twitter personalities loosely (though less and less) tied around college football.
