the owners of this winery are emaw.  their wine is high dollar though so none of you will be able to try it.

http://www.futowines.com

Futo is decent wine but didn't really do anything special for me to be honest. Sure it's high dollar, but that's not reflective of the quality of the wine as there are much better options for the price range out there.

THANKSGIVING YOU GUYS!!!!!

Thinking Zinfindel or Bearboat Pinot Noir.  Maybe a Beaujolais Nouveau?

Yo, fellas, let's talk wine!  <---- (insert wine). So Ms. Wacky and I joined this two weeks ago: http://cellarandloft.com/ (Owned by Eddie Kennison and influenced by Vermeil). It's pretty awesome so far. It's right down in the river market. For like $32 a month they deliver 2 bottles of wine to you. It can change with beer selections too. With that cost, you get free wine, beer, and whiskey tastings on the weekend and 20% off everything in the store. They also have a really nice patio to chill on. I've noticed we've befriended a lot of ppl our age since joining. You can bring your own food or have what they cook there (generally pizza). It also puts you in the drawings monthly for a week stay in napa valley. Anyways, didn't know if any of you had heard of this or were members. It's pretty cool.

Picked up a couple of bottles of this goodness last weekend. Straight from Tool's Maynard James Keenan's winery in Arizona.

If I lived in KC I'd be all over something like this. As it stands now, I'll settle on 20% off on Tuesdays and Wednesdays at the Fridge  :D

Also, with the weather warming up I tend to drink less wine and stick almost exclusively to beer.

Ms. Wacky switches to whites in the summer time. Summer beer is my go to this time of year, but I like wine paired with my food.

Mrs Emo used to bring home cheap California pinot's all the time and rarely was there one I didn't like.
