What did you have to do for restoration
A lot time tracking down original parts (used a few aftermarket, but original where we could). My son and I did the light mechanical stuff. Credit to my oldest son for making connections with some great people who make a living doing this kind of stuff...
Heritage Tractor in Lawrence, KS. (parts)- it was Deems Farm Equipment- where dad bought the tractor originally.
Collin Sheeley in Nortonville, KS. (mechanical)- new wiring harness, PTO repair, fuel pump rebuild, compression test, gaskets
Don's Tractor Salvage in Beattie, KS. (parts)
Moonlight Restoration in Axtell, KS. (paint)
Tractor did not require a complete overhaul so that helped the budget a bunch. We spent a couple of years tracking down parts and getting it back into good working condition. Then we let the paint guys work their magic.
