1. After 77 games without one to start '15, we get walk off wins 3 times in 4 games (Min 2x, Paulo Slam)
2.  After 111 straight, we failed in back to back games
3. First 116 gms of 15' we don't have a win when trailing entering the 9th, and now we do it back to back games

He got hit on wild pitches?  LOL. I think it's more accurate to say he took some hits on foul tips. No Royals pitcher was scored with a WP in this game. Thanks, anyway.

The 2 blown saves and 2 come from behind wins in the last week balanced out. Kinda like a batter having an outfielder make a diving catch on a line drive and then the next at bat sneaking a 6 hopper thru the infield.

Has there ever been a comprehensive study to RIO on a situation like the Royals going from pud to stud?  I mean people always bitch about the Marlins cashing checks and than once a decade deciding to win it all. How much of a difference is there, between not trying and saying thanks big market teams for your revenue redistribution and actually giving a damn and winning.

There is no doubt the team is printing money right now. I walk by the team store most games I go to, and there is always a line at the register. If you averaged that a fan is worth $55 a game (tickets/parking/concessions/merch) which would be conservative, the increase of 10K fans a game is worth $44,550,000 in revenue. The real number is much higher I bet

yes.  and, contrary to my fears, they're apparently willing to pump some of this money into payroll.  I expect them to take this cash and lock up Gordon.  and should have the cash to lock up Zobrist.
