Like at first I was like “oh, maybe they’re using Mexican/central American key limes, and that’s understandable bc not everybody has a Lime Guy in Florida. But no, these mfrs deadass using Persian limes. Persian lime pie (still looks great and would devour, great job on the PLP ‘pclms!)
you’re missing your closing marks, lmfao

with that said, i can appreciate your focus on clarity in naming conventions, especially as it relates to fruit.  can we talk, for a moment, about which borough you currently live in, BIG APPLE CAT?

you sit on a throne of lies. in a castle made of sand.
the best part of the hamburger that I’m going to eat tonight for dinner is all of the delicious ham that hy-vee puts in my ground beef

i’ve been on a big key lime pie kick lately, having made one on each of the past two sundays. i really like the graham cracker crust so as you can see I make extra to sprinkle along the top.

these shits have a ton of calories tho #trashcanning

this is a great looking official key lime pie
thanks man.  just hits differently when the person who knows more about key lime pies than anyone else compliments your key lime pie, that everyone knows is a key lime pie.

3:25 Sunday is the best time for the Chiefs to kickoff, and it isn't close.
mind’s eye with me for a moment-

it’s an unusually warm mid-november sunday afternoon, with warm south-southwesterly winds gently sweeping through the flint hills. the sun is bright and despite having above normal temperatures, the november air is just crisper than just a month earlier.

you’re at home lazily napping through the last few minutes of the titans-eagles game on fox that has garnered roughly 25,000  viewers (total, lol).

you wake up enough to find the remote and flip over to cbs.  the NFL today is on!  JB and nate can’t stop talking about mahomes, it’s a bit embarrassing.  as if they knew they were going on too much about mahomes, they cut quickly to tracey who is on the field at arrowhead and she gets right into the mismatch between the donkeys and the chiefs.  we’re minutes away from watching a generational quarterback and his dynasty creating team take the field.

do I have time before kickoff to make it to the store to grab some cornbread mix to go with the brisket I have simmering on the stove?  can’t risk it, fritos will have to suffice on this day.

Other than being adorable, what's the purpose of a tiny cow? Tiny steaks and or sliders are not acceptable answers.
they are bred solely for the purpose of being used as training animals for junior bull riders.  some say that there are parts of the world where children as young as 6 months begin learning the craft.

Key lime pie and cheesecake are basically the only two non-chocolate desserts I will eat.
i’m going to share something with you.  despite being the best chef on this bulletin board, i haven’t mastered the art of the cheesecake.  mine are mid, at best.  keep it b/w us, “cat-man”.  cool?

undoubtedly my favorite picture i’ve seen in a long while.  and to see you using the undisputed king of breakfast breads, the english muffin, is remarkable. kudos to you, tom (massive stud).

Damn I thought you were sporting the new Bronco
had it for a year and traded it in for a 24 f-150 raptor with the 37” performance package because I needed the best desert runner that $$ could buy for all of my desert racing I do 24/7/365

In other EV news a guy in my hood got a cyber truck and it’s the stupidest looking thing I’ve ever seen. Pictures and video don’t do justice to seeing this thing irl. It’s so lmao.

multiple in and around my hood - Tesla dealership down the street on stateline and 100% canco they are ridiculous looking IRL
the Tesla dealership on State Line (also my hood) has a dozen or so on the lot.  they are pretty ridiculous looking and I can’t imagine any serious person buying one.  even worse than the  looks, is the performance.

pretty on brand for elon mush.

Here’s a great example:

Yep, you wouldn't be able to get one fast enough if that was sold in the US. It's been obvious for a while that the big auto companies and dealers are delaying EV adoption as long as they can. That's why every EV that comes out looks like a shitty lego car instead of a normal looking car. Elon is a moron for lots of reasons but building the stupid cyber truck instead of something like this is up there for all time dumbass ideas.
That thing has a lower towing capacity than a Nissan Pathfinder.

I'd guess that an extremely large portion of truck owners rarely tow anything and the ones that do aren't looking for an electric vehicle. A truck with these exact specs put out by Ford or Chevy would sell out immediately in the US. This exact Chinese made truck would most likely sell out too.
i’m not sure who the market would be for this chinese made truck regardless of specs. but I can say with certainty that they’re not going to be taking much, if any, business from the ford buyers who have supported the f-series.  i’d expect the same for chevy/gmc.  these dudes don’t like or want electric and they’re especially TSC and not purchasing something from china.
also, as an owner of a new american made pickup truck, I am an expert

where do you source your key limes?
costco.  but let me let you in on a little secret- key lime pie is rarely actually made with key limes.  key lime season is too short.

It's pretty cool that Dean is a starter and playing decently well.

I didn't know that he had to play with one of the Morris twins, tho.

When did he return? He’s been out injured for awhile.
two games ago

Another year on the bubble.  A sweep of BYU probably gets us in.  However BYU is so bad that if we lose the series we are likely out.
yo muffin- what kind of bubble are you talking about?

What is the economic case for assessing 100% (Biden proposed) or even 200% (Trump proposed) tariffs on Chinese EV’s?

I had to read this book a long time ago for Macro and it convinced me free trade was great.

https://www.amazon.com/Choice-Fable-Free-Trade-Protection/dp/0131433547

What am I missing? Cheap reliable electric cars seem like a huge win for everyone.

1.  if you think china has unfairly subsidized their ev industry and you want to impose punitive tariffs to induce them to remove subsidies.
2.  if you think china is a geopolitical adversary and the ev industry has strategic importance and you don't want us demand to be used to help subsidize the development of chinese heavy/semiconductor industry and/or you don't want us producers to be eliminated via competition with chinese producers.

since neither political party really believes in free trade currently, i think it's clearly the second one, although we might at times argue the first as a fig leaf.
as per usual, sys nails it
