this is good pizza.  i went with the pepperoni for $6.75.  just because they offer you "tuscan chicken" doesn't mean it goes on a pizza.  they offer crap like that at pie 5 because they deal with pizza n00bs there.

anyway.  for those of you pizza realists that are still reading, the sauce is made in house with san marzano tomatoes.  the crust is made in house as well.  none of this cheese blend bullshit you find at other places, pizzaria locale rolls strictly with fresh mozzarella (never frozen).  the pizza is about 12" around.  they offer shakers of red pepper, oregano, and bottles of olive oil as the accoutrements.  same drink selections as chipotle.

i also got a budino (butterscotch pudding with chocolate and caramel topping) for $1.50.

total bill was $9.25.  i left with a smile on my face and my stomach lining and stomach and the stomach acids.

Pizzeria Locale is ok. They do that neopolitan style, so you need to like/tolerate thin crust. But it's not cracker crust, so that was a plus. Sauce was tasty, but only a moderate amount of cheese.

Everyone, please be advised, I'm ordering Rosati's this evening. Thin crust. Maybe some cheese bread? Dunno, haven't thought that far ahead. And to be honest, I have several hours to make that decision. It's not even noon. I'll probably ask that chick I married if that is something she is interested in. If so, then I'll likely push forward with the cheese bread. If not? Man, not sure. I love cheese bread. I guess we'll just wait and see. Royals.

I'm about a 5 to 1 OP to Rosati's ratio man. I love OP. Every once in a while I like to mix it up. You feel me son?

Ordering a classic seems like a pretty good way to compare pizza joints.

it was really good.  the pic kinda doesn't do it justice because it makes it look a little cold.  it took about 5 mins to cook from the time i ordered and it came out piping hot with that orange grease all over that we all love.  the cheese was melty and delicious.

same for me

the manager said that there are 3 locations in CO, 1 somewhere else, and 1 in kc.  there are 2 more opening in kc this summer.  so there will be 7 total but i think they're looking to franchise.
