Okay, you have to get up pretty early in the morning to get anything past MadCat. DGale has a fascination with all things Oz (this is likely the least embarassing of the embarassing things I've revealed here). After we broke up, Ron sent me an email saying that he had gone to see the movie Oz and that he saw some fascinating parallels to his own life. That he had "clearly been that shallow, hollow man at times." Also that he met a witch and hurt her (then she was convinced by outside forces that she was a victim). I believe that in his version of Oz, the role of the injured witch was played by his ex-wife. (Side note here: what kind of outside forces would you need to feel injured when your husband is running around Hays ass-slapping Bunny?).
And Oz goes on: "Then I met a good witch. The best I had ever met. I never understood how someone so calm, beautiful and confident could convince themselves that I am a bad man...but it happened." He then went on to say how disappointed he was and that he was trying to get through by focusing on his job and his kids (didn't mention the fact that he was busy with Indy. Uh, you think?). Bless his heart, he apologized to me for how confused I was. Silly government liaison/farm girl. I'm a good, good man...trust me.
I'm not a bad man DGale. I'm the magical wizard of Oz.
