when I traveled Delta a lot I never ever remember seeing a saver award available

of course once you get status it's way easier to keep status because of the multipliers. When I moved the company put me in a Residence Inn for 30 days which let me keep some status but sucked because Residence inns are like .75 points/dollar or something idiotic.
