i'm not saying my opinion will be correct but here's my assessment of where i'll be given the result:

miss tourney: fire oscar <= with that
first round loss: fire oscar <= No, that is a bare minimum
second round loss: fire oscar but i understand not firing him <=hell no, proved you belong by winning at least 1 games
sweet 16 loss: okay let's go <= Second weekend is a good thing, happy
elite 8 loss: hell yeah oscar <= Very Happy
final 4 loss: extend the hell out of him <=I won't be pissed about Frank's FF anymore
champ game loss: lifetime contract <= Sure why not, that's been the farthest we've ever been
natty: statue <= and a parade, and a kiss the rings ceremony by every naysayer grovelling at his feet

He won't declare. I'm willing to bet he stays for his senior season to lead KSU to another title.

There's a pretty good chance that either Dean, Barry, or Stokes leave early.

I'll admit my desire for these players to stay is 100% from a place of selfishness. With the limited number of people who get drafted in the NBA draft I do wonder the cost/benefit analysis to playing another year if you aren't a "known entity" in the basketball community. Dean has the most national attention, but as of today Kam and Barry are only on the radar for people who follow the BIGXII specifically. Hard to see them raising their draft stock this year without a long run in the NCAA tournament.

I’d be surprised if any of our guys declared early, but then again I was pretty damn surprised Pringle did so what do I know.

NBA is a bit of a different animal however. Lots of 2nd rounders go missing overseas. Pretty big risk.

Up to 15 MPG his last 10 games, so his role is increasing.

These guys (Brown/Stokes) need to talk to Pullen because that's their pro ceiling. Its not a bad one, Pullen has done well playing overseas, but he just doesn't have the size to be an NBA player.

Honestly, Wade is probably most likely to make an NBA roster, perhaps in a role similar to what got Cartier Martin some time in the league. I don't think he's getting drafted to do that though. Plus, though my perception could be wrong, as a small town Kansas kid he seems like a guy that would come back as a senior to have a special season at K-State.

For a while, until Will Shields helped he and his mom move to Olathe.

Depending on Stokes role when he returns, I could seem him grad transferring if he has it as an option.  I can't imagine him having the same role he did with Diarra playing so well.  If he isn't ahead of schedule in graduating, I can't see him sitting a year to play a year somewhere though.

I second this, unless the small ball lineup mentioned in the other thread is enacted and he starts, I could see him transferring. His depth and experience would be great for this squad but if he leaves I wont be upset.

If we win our next two, I'll be fully on-board.
