pretty rare there?  I have no idea how weather works.  thunder about knocked me out of my bed at 3AM last night though.  I didn't see it but based on the loudness of the thunder the lightning struck just outside my right ear drum.

it's really weird when it rains a lot in LA, since it rarely does.  the city can't handle it, like the palm trees all crap everywhere and the sewers back up, etc.

friend/co-worker and family moved to vegas. Now every time some Kansan has a weather related facebook status...him or his wife must comment on how lovely the weather is there. hmmmm.

agreed clams.  also, dubdub, your friend is full of crap.  the weather hasn't been nice in vegas in the history of it being on the earth.  it's either blisteringly hot, windy and cold or rainy.  there is no nice spring/fall day in vegas.  ever.  of all time.

I do like to stand in the pool when it's 110 there and drink my drink though
