I found a lot of bright spots last night. I really liked what we were doing up top and were a hair away so many times of getting more goals in both halves. Pulisic needed constant attention from more than one defender all night and the one time he got space in the second half he got off a pretty good attempt. Wood looked good, and I'm sorry, showed why Altadore is part of the old guard. He, Wood, plays back so much better when needed and looks to me to be so much more versatile. I appreciate what players like Beasley have done for us in the past, but it's time to keep him in a limited role at best.
For everyone saying this morning the US was lucky, you could find as many, if not more things to say about Mexico being lucky to get a point. From Bradley's second half attempt, to Pulisic's run of play, and finally, and for me most importantly, Mexico not playing with 10 for 85' because of crap refereeing showed the US held their own pretty damn well.
