I am sure we will get overlooked because...well that is what we do...but K-State won the Big12 Championship in Football, Men's Basketball, and Baseball becoming only the second school in BCS era history to do so for their conference. Again, i am sure no one nationally cares...but we are proud and should be on this list.

I'll be pretty steamed if we get ranked #3 or worse. #2 could be justified if it's weighted heavily on early 1900's football success, but I'd still be kind of steamed.

The wild-card spot went to the most successful among the school's following spectator sports in 2012-13: softball, men's lacrosse, men's ice hockey, men's soccer, wrestling, women's soccer or women's gymnastics.

Here's the thing.  KU fans are all clamoring about how much higher they would be ranked (prolly around #45 overall, maybe) if this thing counted human female running. 

Now, I know what you guys are going to say before you even rough ridin' say it. 

Humans haven't needed to walk places in like thousands of years, and the domestication of hoofed animals was one of the driving factors in the creation of organized civilization and therefore the K-State Equestrian team winning 3 team Reserve National Championships and producing 5 individual National Champions is about 6000 times bigger deal (at least one bigger deal for every year that humans on horses have been dominating humans on foot) than KU winning a human female running contest.

BUT, we are all in the same boat on this one, because Equestrian is not counted either.  So, let's not have KU fans posting angry stuff in this thread anymore.
