KC is a middle tier city with some cool stuff to offer.
product design/engineering/sourcing/qa
Quote from: michigancat on June 30, 2014, 08:23:22 PMproduct design/engineering/sourcing/qaI'm in product design/engineering. But ya I've been here 8 years. Haven't been tempted to move on yet. I don't actually do the design, BTW, just the project management, which I guess is more transferable.

Yeah, jobs like that definitely exist. But are there many companies in kc you think you could (or would want to) go to if you wanted to make a change?

I know. My buddy lives down by 119th and his gf is at 135th. They both work at farmers. He use to live downtown before he moved down there to be closer to her and now he acts like coming downtown is the biggest hassle ever. It just really annoys me cause he use to be a downtown snob and now doesn't want to visit when the rolls are reversed.
We moved in the little corridor between 119th and 135th and Metcalf and Nall.I have yet to find anything that's not within one mile of my house.
