Makes sense. I'm not a big Venzy fan at this point. I think the leash thing shows immaturity. Don't get me wrong. He's got great defenses. Just not sure he's ready for head coach.

As for Brohm, I hope he gets a big pile of money from UL and gets them on track. College football weekends are always better when area teams are both doing well.

You won't change my mind in Venzy. I dislike his routine.

As for SB comment referencing Martin, he has mellowed some. JC wasn't the only AD to ask him to tone it. Wasn't he on probation at SC? Anyhow, there was so much more to the JC v Frank stuff. Seemed to be far more than how much he cussed or yelled.

Purdue was humiliated by a bad Minnesota team yesterday, and Brohm is likely the top candidate to replace Petrino.

Northwestern, also terrible at football, clinched the big 10 West yesterday.
