We should be talking about what a dumb rule it is in the first place.

First off, if you hit the flag you should be able to drop on the other side of the water. The flag should be a silver lining in the stroke penalty ordeal. Secondly, you can't drop it further from the hole? Wtf? Since when was being further away an advantage.

Just really but hurt, you guys. Stupid rule, even dumber that people are calling for tiger to DQ

Being further away can be an advantage if it takes an obstacle out of play/gives you a better angle/etc.

I agree, but in this case it wasn't.
I think what my friend Mitch is trying to say is that true love is blind.

He hit his first shot and it hit the flag pretty high up.  It was probably about two yards long of perfect.  So he backs up two yards on pupose makes the same swing with the same club and the ball stops pin high.  How can you not see that is an advantage?

Adam Scott is 32 years old.   He should have been assessed a two stroke penalty for every use of the long putter.

I only got to watch the first round, not happy about it. Scotty is a baller, should have won more than one by now though. Expect another major for him in the next year or two.

I enjoyed it.  Now if he has a history of commenting on her love life or whatever then he needs to STFU.  But if its a one off, it was nicely done

Wouldn't of been 4 up without Stevie. Only so much a caddie can do
