Was riding up to manhattan over the weekend and a hawk flew into our car while we were driving on I-70...I was sitting in the backseat and saw it flying parallel to the car about 50ft in front then it swooped in front and hit the top right of the windshield  :sdeek:.

It flopped around on the interstate for a while then flew off, I hope its alright  :frown:.

Do you think you could walk up and pet the snake while it was swallowing a croc?

you mean would it bother the snake?  as long as you weren't too aggressive about it, prolly not.

Had a Australian healer growing up on the farm. Got ran over by a trans am doing 50, stepped on by a cow, and ran over by feed wagon.  Dad worked cattle and dog helped til the job was done and went laid down under the pick up with her obligatory horn and died.

totally rescued a squirrel today.  he had found himself in a pretty rough spot.  heard a scratching noise coming from a 4" copper gutter coming vertically off a 2 story house.  tapped on it and could hear something frantically scratching again.  it was just above ground level.  removed the blastic boot that slips over the pipe and ties into the underground drainage, and out he went.

this is real hero crap right here guys, take notes.

nice work AS. my pipe like that immediately floods my yard when it rains and I'm pretty positive it's ssquirrel related because there are no trees tall enough to plug it with leaves near my house. either the squirel completely filled it with nuts all the way to the ground level causing water to burst out of the sides when it rains or it's completely filled all the way up with squirels. hopefully #1 guys. hopefully.

Guys I put out a crap ton of sticky traps and I haven't caught any spiders yet.  I think I found the only two in the house.

My gramps was the son of swedish immigrants. When I bought his old house I kept his welcome mat that says "välkommen" with a little swedish horse on it.

this reminds me of an old squirrel story (i may have posted it years ago, who knows).  drove in a big ass full-size van from dallas-ft worth to mexico city over 2 days.  juvenile fox squirrel hopped out from under the engine hood in mexico city and ran off to colonize new worlds.

i love how sys identifies the squirrel....its not a "squirrel", its a "fox squirrel"

Also, typing the "squirrel" three times has made me realize what a weird word it actually is.

Squirrel. Lol.

For the second straight year, a robin has been incessantly flying into the windows that frame our front door every single day.  He will literally fly into, and attack, our entry way several hundred times per day.  It's like someone is softly knocking on our door all day long.

My wife bought these colored strips to try and distract him, but that didn't work.  We put up a fake owl, and he crapped on it.  We put up a bird feeder in the front yard to try and use other birds to scare him away, but he's still there.

Day after day, he just flies into my front door.  I have no idea what we did to make him mad, but it's his life's mission to attack that door.

And, keeping with tradition, in year three, the same bird has found his way to my stoop.  Perfect timing, too.  Just a week before we put our house on the market, he's crapping all over our porch and slamming against the storm door all day long.

I hate that damn bird.
