You're body chemistry is whacked. You should be numb to the sensation unless you've slept  7-8 hours.

I'm approaching 40 and I've noticed in the past few years....
- Can't keep weight off just by exercising. I actually have to watch what I eat, especially after 8pm.
- I dread staying up late socially, but I'm ok staying up to binge watch.
- My night vision is getting worse.
- I actually care about what kind of mattress I sleep on.
- More people annoy the crap out of me, generally speaking, and I now see that most stereotypes exist for a reason. When people bitch about millenials being lazy, sheltered pieces of crap - that's because it's definitely true.
- I give way fewer shits about what other people think. I've basically become Larry David, and it's actually pretty fun.
I've said it before and I'll say it again, K-State fans could have beheaded the entire KU team at midcourt, and K-State fans would be celebrating it this morning.  They are the ISIS of Big 12 fanbases.

I'm 32 and have none of these issues. Ts and Ps to you all.

Starts at about 35. Good luck.

9 years at Hallmark isn't too shabby. Not sure who you're comparing that to, but senior marketing positions in KC are a little tight right now.

On thread topic: when I was younger I always wondered why/how my older co workers could spend so much time in the john. I mean for one, it smells like dookie in there and also I don't really want to advertise that that's what I'm doing. But as I'm getting older I'm starting to notice the time creeping up. Not even close to the 10+ minutes I've observed from others but... The trajectory is there.

On actual topic: wackster, I know we're only hearing the negs and I'm sure if there was a "ways my significant other is amazing" thread that you would be absolutely blowing that thing up. But as I read this I'm getting a very uncomfortable yet familiar chill. I hope that feeling is misplaced but if I can give a word of advice as someone who has been there... Be honest with yourself and ask yourself what you can actually be okay compromising on and what is just asking you to be someone that, at your core, you just aren't. If you try to be someone or something you aren't... Well it's all going to come to the surface eventually. Obviously I don't know the minutiae of your relationship, but I don't wanna see you (or anyone) make the same mistakes!

How big was the ‘rita?  There are some 64oz beasts at La Fiesta that I could see this happening.
