He would have to really want to do coaching to take less than a major job. With networks handing out big contract to former ESPN personalities, he is probably doing pretty well. That said, would be shocked if a major job would take that risk.

I think Doug said on Petro last year that he'd love to get into coaching, but it had to be the right job in terms of fit and salary. He said that he couldn't just take any job because his family is accustomed to living a certain lifestyle based on his ESPN salary, and he's not willing to move down from that.
So, after the CBS move, I think he priced himself out of a ton of jobs if that's really a criteria for him.
And I agree with ChiCat that I don't think many, if any, high majors would take a risk on him for the money he'd ask for.
