That iconic hot dog + drink combo for $1.50 might be the best value you can find in America. It feels like they just do it as fan service at this point.
like their $5 rotisserie chickens, it brings people in the door. you may be surprised how many people go to costco just for the food court.
I get lunch (and only lunch) at Costco at least once most weeks.  Me and a bunch of grandpas sitting around eating hot dogs and listening to our podcasts.

Sometimes I also get gas or diapers or some crap.

Bill Walton helped Sproles with his speech impediment.  Forever thankful to him on behalf of my favorite Wildcat OAT.

we going to talk about Baby Reindeer? because holy rough ridin' crap
that was hard to watch
yeah i didn't have fun with that.  by the time i wanted to get off the ride (that episode), I felt like i was already in too deep and had to see it through.  no fun though.

I am at the epi where she shows up as he is walking home by the canal and pins him against the wall.  Feels super creepy.  Sounds like it's not worth going on.
It gets considerably worse.

I’m out.
I quit as well.  I found myself hoping that every character would get murdered to put them and myself out of our collective misery.

And it's worse knowing that it's based on a true story.

the hardest part of this show to watch is the main character's standup routine.
yeah.  i thought they actually did a really good job of writing a "mediocre small time performance art standup show."  Like, I get what he was trying to do and i get why it wasn't working.  I thought they depicted that element really well.

I've been legit enjoying Bluey lately.

I'm not sure I've ever actually used "take the stand."  Agree with 'trophe.

Is he connected to that SSPX Church in St Mary's? You guys need to drop by and see it if you are in the area. It is jaw-dropping, looks like something you would see in NYC, not St Mary's, KS.

Isn't Segal kind of an A-list maga star like Kid and chachi?
Yeah, he’s top of the MAGA pyramid with Roseanne

if you’re redoing one wing at a time, that bird don’t fly.  ain’t a chance in hell those birds are going to the playoffs in ‘24, but I wish ‘em well trying!
Can't win a ring flying with one wing, I say.

My grandpa killed a dog that bit me when I was a toddler. More accurately it kind of mauled me and I have scars on my face from it. I don't care to dive into the details of Noem's case (or debate how my grandpa managed his dog) but I don't think farmers killing dogs is quite as uncommon as the reaction makes it seem.
Me neither.  I just think it’s a funny meme.

she has an insatiable craving for K9 murder

But not in a "i am a sportswoman and enjoy hunting" but in a "i am having a bad day and love feeling powerful so will kill a defenseless animal that has no chance to run or hide" way
I don’t think she even gets that deep motivation wise.  She just has an inexplicable bloodlust.

Toyota Highlander has exploded into my awareness.

In doing my research on this car endeavor, i've come to the conclusion that you're an idiot if you buy anything besides a toyota.

Scout is checking out my Cosmo Burger
I love Cosmo Burger.  My favorite burger.  Charlie Hoopers is number 2 in my DQDex.

Further Googling shows that my property managers (the agent) use RealPage's services and are defendants in several of these lawsuits. I'm unsure if I can join as a Plaintiff, since I've represented the actual property owner (the principal). DickStone?
I don’t think you’d be conflicted out if you’re an actual party.  Seems like it’d be even less of an issue in a class context.

The problem is even the filthy capitalists ITT already agreed we need more regulation
I don’t think anyone anywhere* thinks we shouldn’t have regulation. I think everyone acknowledges that capitalism requires some guardrails and certainly manipulation sometimes in the form of carrots and sticks. My confusion was BAC pointing to the current housing situation in some areas as proof that capitalism is bad and has lowered the standard of living.

*The “should I have to get a license to operate my damn toaster” guy meme notwithstanding.
