Even if Ertz won the heisman, I would think NFL teams would be a bit gunshy after what happened to RG III.

Is Delton the firm #2 or is Skylar Thompson making a case for it this spring?

The chatter appears to be about Skylar being pretty rough ridin' good.

I'd rather have Arthur brown than like some ok 2 deep guys.

Depth, or lack thereof is what killed Snyder's last 2 legit threats at national title aspirations.. especially in 2012 that HAD  Arthur Brown. Don't diminish the importance of needing really quality depth. Or put all your eggs into a razor thin 1st string with no real support behind them. Let me know how that works out for ya

it worked out to "2 legit threats at national title aspirations" crap brain

Crap brain. For saying quality depth is just as important as front line talent? Okay then. Lol.

the original Lynch Mob was pretty much 2 deep with NFL guys - I am not sure the entire Big 12 has that kind of talent on D anymore
This. The '98 defense is one of the best in the history of college football
So would or could you explain why we lost to A&M with a 14 point lead in the forth quarter at the Dr. Pepper.

Sisco is not getting drafted as a qb.

Why not?
He's not accurate enough, teams likely won't like the mechanics, injury history(especially with the shoulder), there will probably be quite a bit of better QBs on the board next year.

All valid points and exactly why I said he'd need a great year, he'll need to show he can regain his passing ability after the shoulder work. As far as his accuracy goes he was more accurate his first year as a starter than Mitch Trubisky, 58% is good for a first year starter in a pro style offense.

He'll get a medical redshirt, so don't worry about it guys.

LOL, you're more sure of that than Sisco and the coaching staff. You must have a great source at the NCAA who hasn't even seen the application yet.

It was 15.  :Crybaby:

I'm of the view that our coaches having a foot out the door for OU had something to do with that painful day.

But we digress......let's talk more about how awesome we are going to be this year  :crossfingers:

Fair enough, i agree, but i still think he'd be a late rounder with a great year unless im missing something.

This is very good news.  I am naive about Thompson and Delton's real skills, but I like all our QB options this year.  Weird feeling.  I have never felt this way.

Last time I was even close to this feeling about QB depth was 2000 with Ell backing up Beasley, it maybe a baby Beasley backing up Bish.

I assume Bill would say that no matter what. I'll bet he said Hubes was nipping at Klein's heels all of 2012.

Well, I mean to say that the other rumblings are that our backups do not suck.  The rumblings this year seem more legitish than prior years' dumb shitish rumblings, IMO.

Maybe they should be playing KU next year?
I'm afraid for our players at this point.
