Turner Gill also won back to back games.
Their last conference road win was October 4, 2008 at Iowa State.

Could be three in a row after Baylor... :runaway:
-
KU fans are really puffing out their chests/beaks today at the office. They apparently play in Waco this weekend, blue wings are most def rising.
-
Did KU flex some muscle, or did Rutgers roll over? Inquiring minds want to know.
-
Rutgers played as poorly as UT did to lose to KU a couple of years ago. KU does seem to have a couple of legitimate B12 players for the first time in awhile. Outside of Baylor, I don't think KU is going to be able to beat anybody that doesn't beat themselves.
-
I watched some of that game and Rutgers is incredibly bad. Good for the Hawks tho, I was totally :tsc:
-
unless they win 3 conference games Beatty is toast
-
I think a win over Baylor could keep Beatty around. Unless Long already has someone on deck, I think he'll be pretty disappointed with the coaches willing to take the job.
-
I picked KU to win 4 games this year, back in June. I figured they'd beat Nicholls State, and gave them good odds to beat CMU and Rutgers. If they beat Baylor, they'll only have to sneak up on one conference team to get to 4.....
KU may no longer be hurting.
-
@dax, any dealing with KU Karl and Karla? they're probably on cloud number 9
-
Karl is now worried Beaty will leave them
-
KU Karl ain't headin back to Memorial until 2007 levels are reached. Now if you'll excuse Karl, he and his cubicle mates are updating their KU basketball shrine in prep for the upcoming season which starts promptly at midnight in 11 days MF'ers! :Woot:.
FYI Karl and friends universally agree that not one dime should be spent on a football stadium until the football program is winning 10 games a year for years and years. Otherwise they feel all capital projects should focus exclusively on basketball. They're only okay with this new V-Ball gym so long as it can be used as a practice court for basketball as well. Maybe even have a concurrent late night even in there, just rotating the guys between gyms, so more people get to see their Hawks!
PS FYI . . . Karl's not happy with Karla's credit binge at the Sampler.
-
I will say, I watched KU and I'm impressed with their (pardon the pun . . . not really) ball hawking defense.
-
rotating late night between gyms would be amazing. imagine how many hawks could see the hawks if the hawks were to do that? incredible ideas at work here.
-
Why don't they fix up memorial and add a dome and do late night there for maximum hawk late nightness

@The Hill get in here to defend yourself
-
Wait unless it's a retractable dome in which case I suppose that would be alright provided none of the components obstruct the view of The Setting
-
Wait, no, the more I think about it... There's really never a circumstance where its okay to block the view of The Hill on the backdrop of The Setting. It was a horrible idea lib7
-
Big apple idiot has never heard of glass smdh
-
The only glass dome in this scenario is the inverted one on your bong bc you obviously have to be high from smoking drugs to think that's a good idea. Call the addiction network or visit www.addictionnetwork.com. Good grief
-
Another KU fact: true freshman Pooka Williams leads all Big 12 rushers through 3 games, despite the fact that he has only played in 2 games while the other rushers in the top 10 have played 3.

Would be amazing.
All those rock chalkers rock chalkin, wavin the wheat . . . Jay Jay Jayhawkin
-
They love Thunderstruck over there so any dome added to their football stadium would obviously be nicknamed Thunderdome. 2 teams enter, one team leaves.

Also, has eligibility issues.

Why the hell is the damn KU thread locked?
-
Man he went from TCU to fired by KU. Has to really be evaluating his life right now.

Thank you. I went to post a tweet by a KU sports writer right after it broke and was very surprised to find the thread locked, so naturally I just didn't post the tweet at all because it pissed me off we had censorship here.

Chingon! :shakesfist:
-
I know they're terrible at everything but it has to be:
Offense > defense > special teams over there.
Clint Bowen had been sucking male genitals at D-Coord for at least a decade.
-
In some lonely stairwell, Doug Meacham currently sits with his head in his hands.
-
KU's loss to coal aggie was by a smaller difference than us. So they've got that to hang their hat on.
-
They also have a road win and a win over a P5 school.
-
somebody 'shop that picture to look like he's flipping the bird (but keep the football)
