I'm on board with this. Maybe we can also get in good with the Tigers. Detroit starting shortstop and All Star Jhonny Peralta was suspended 50 games today. He is batting .305 with 11 HR's and 54 RBI's. Big loss the Tigers and good news for the Royals.

This. Usually by this time I'm only watching the Royals if they happen to be on when I turn on the tv and I'm going insane waiting for Wildcat football. This year, I'd still murder a KU grad hobo for a football game today but I'm still watching the Royals every day

No surprise that a guy who can't even spell his own first name is one of the 50 MLB players dumb enough to get caught.

They already suspected this and got Jose Iglesias in the Peavy trade. He's batting .323 in 66 games this year. Still a loss, but it's not a crushing loss.

Our official position is that we want his family emergency to last until Oct. 1st but for everyone to be ok and healthy or whatever.

Unfortunately I checked the Royals website and yep it's a real thing. They're giving away 750 of these babies:

Tickets are deeply discounted on the website so the poors from Nebraska can make it. Another interesting note is the ad on the right side of the page for Huskers Night is for Head and Shoulders + Old Spice shampoo. Talk about hitting your target audience.
