Not saying fats aren't a good fuel source. I love 'em. Avocados, almond butter, bacon. Bring it on.

I would just say that you can get the same results, or better, by simply running more. And that new runners get their biggest bang for their bucks by doing just that. A whole bunch of slow miles.
I am all for reducing sugar intake, and refined grains, and junk. But oatmeal is good for you and no one will convince me otherwise.
