I know you guys are going to stay at ahead of the curve on this whole conference re-alignment issue.   (Note to Tim lovers everywhere:  I am not saying there will be major shake ups in the Big 12, I am saying that there is no doubt in mind that if there is school movement, Dan Beebe and Tim Wesier will will be ahead of the curve).

The big 12 has a contract with the BCS for the next 5 years or something like that right? So if crap falls like everyone is thinking, the big 12 will still exist- but it will have different teams and still have a BCS birth, right?  It would be like the Big East when the ACC stole their teams- crap football but still BCS $$. Can anyone confirm this or am i just talking out my a$$?

Something is going to happen.  At the very least, the dynamic in the Big 12 will end up shifting to placate our Sugar Daddies even more (Texas, A&M, Oklahoma, etc.) to keep the little guys sitting at the table.

This better be a wake up call to Schulz and Currie.  They better figure out how to make us more attractive because being included in the BCS is essential to the long term success of this university.  The clock is ticking...regardless if this happens tomorrow or ten years from now.

we should quit trying to be something that we're not.  it'll be much easier on everyone involved.
