Well, so much for the theory that we weren't taking another point guard because of Angel.

All I'll say, is Josh Gray sure as f*ck better not be a qualifier.

well, good news is that there's no way this kid can play PG in the big 12

Every squad needs practice players.

S.L.T.H.

A "Maybe" on Gray still would have been a helluva lot better than Orris in all his glory. Damn.

We better go and out sign a PG worth a crap in '13, and I'm not talking any Sam Singer crap either.

Let's try to win here, not just be average.

meanwhile, NU's coach that I mocked at hiring is getting visits from 5 stars and signing 7 footers

1m Jeff Goodman ? @GoodmanCBS
Nebraska has added 7-foot Serbian Sergej Vucetic, according to source. Tim Miles' newest assistant, Chris Harriman, already paying dividends
....
Vucetic had visited Providence and some of the big boys -- Illinois, Marquette, Vandy -- had started to get involved.

So is Orris basically a Spradling clone? white, pass first, 6'2",  :star: :star: :star: PG?

Offers
Orris - K-State/Illinois, Pitt, Nebraska, Drake and lots of mid-major interest
Spradling - K-State, UNLV, and some other decent BCS interest

So all we're missing is the over bearing high school coach/father and squeaky high voice right?

Did Nebraska make their hire before Weber was fired or did they decide they were too good to interview Weber?

For all you recruitniks out there, Jerry Meyer recently got laid off by Rivals. This leaves Bossi as their lone national correspondent, at least temporarily.

Now to the speculation, rumor is that Rivals may be hiring Kline full-time. If you follow his twitter, Kline said earlier today he would make a major announcement on Saturday. Don't know if it's a coincidence or not, but his website has been down since last weekend.

Could all be just a bunch of coincidences and BS, but that's the buzz anyway.

HOLY crap.  Congrats to Kline, that SOB has earned it.  Best part about this is the nationwide butthurt epidemic that will infect the lazy lower seaded recruiting jackoffs across the tiwtterverse.  It's times like these that I wish Neil Nieves hadn't blocked me.

 :excited:

I hope he gets the rivals job, but this could be the good news.

The Mary Kline Classic Is Now Powered By Fuse

MIAMI LAKES, Fla., May 3, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Fuse Science Inc. (OTCQB: DROP), (www.fusescience.com) announced today the Mary Kline Classic (MKC) will now be Powered By Fuse. The Mary Kline Classic an all-star basketball fundraiser to fight cancer, will showcase more than 50 of the best high school basketball players from around the east coast in an event taking place on Saturday, May 5, in Pennington, NJ. Alex Kline, MKC founder, expects this to be a major year for the Mary Kline Classic.

"The Mary Kline Classic is extremely pleased to announce their partnership with Fuse Science," said Alex Kline. "Together, Fuse will provide the Mary Kline Classic players with a gateway of opportunities to improve their natural performance on the court by using EnerJel™ and understanding what it means to be Powered By Fuse™. We are looking forward to having them be a major part of our Slam Dunk Contest, Three-Point Shootout and Shooting Skills Challenge this coming Saturday in Pennington, New Jersey. Our goal is to raise over $10,000 for cancer research through this all-star basketball event and Fuse Science is a huge part of this equation."

The Mary Kline Classic is held in honor of Mary Kline who passed away seven years ago after a five year battle with brain cancer. Alex Kline organized this event in memory of his mother and for all those touched by this horrible disease. This year's proceeds will be contributed to the National Brain Tumor Society. Fuse Science Inc. will donate $1.00 back to the foundation for every purchase of EnerJel™ using the "KlineClassic" promo code.

"We are excited to be a part of this worthy cause and be able to connect with some of the top emerging athletes in the country as they embark upon their future careers," said Brian Tuffin, Fuse Science CEO. "This will be a great opportunity to see some amazing athletic ability in the Powered By Fuse™ Slam Dunk, 3 Point Shoot Out, and Skills Competitions. These athletes will know what it means to be Powered By Fuse™ and best of all, everyone can get involved with a very worthy cause by going to Poweredbyfuse.com and using the 'KlineClassic' promo code to help raise money for the cancer foundation. This event represents the Powered By Fuse™ commitment to improving peoples lives through our research, innovative products and dollars to support important causes like the Mary Kline Classic."

If you would like to understand what it means to be Powered By Fuse!™ today and support this effort, log onto www.poweredbyfuse.com and enter Promo code "KlineClassic" for 20% off your EnerJel™ and Fuse Science will donate a $1.00 to the National Brain Tumor Society in support of the Mary Kline Classic.

Eric Bossi ? @ebosshoops

Per an email from his summer coach Scott Lidskin of Illinois Old School, former Illinois signee Michael Orris will play at Kansas State

I'd like to officially welcome me to #teamburnitdown.  What pissed me off about this whole thing is that I won't be able to fully enjoy '12-'13 because of the constant crap show this has been.  I'm sick right now. :flush:

I'm totally ok with Orris over Omari.

What I'm not ok with is Orris over Gray.

Bossi better be right about the qualification .

I wouldn't be. Orris is an okay get, especially for the spring recruiting we are used to. Definitely an upgrade over Omari.
