They were very good. I'll miss them for a while. Last night of connoisseuring until beach vacation.  Going low carb for six weeks.

Tried a few different ones yesterday...

Flying Dog Super Tramp ( :excited: ) a tart cherry wheat, very good, and the name is obviously a winner...

Sam Adams Thirteenth Hour Stout - Belgian stout, barrel aged (oak). Deeeeelicious.

And finally, Duclaw X10 Saison - Saison with cantaloupe. Once was enough for me on this one. Yikes. If you love cantaloupe you'll love this one, though.

Raddler season.  Tried Parallel 49 Tricycle yesterday.  Not bad.  Pretty strong grapefruit flavor.  I wish they had a higher alcohol content.

Will smash.
also, prairie is supposed to have their monthly out tomorrow.  My beer lady said that her distributor only got three cases for his entire area.

WV is notoriously stingy when it comes to distribution and who gets what. It really screws the consumer, but people are making enough of a fuss to get many of the laws here changed.

Ommegang barely hits the shelves before it's gone. A few more in the fridge right now, will post as I Crack them open over the weekend.

Flavors of curdled malt mixed with undertones of post-workout underwear and that soupy green stuff that happens when you leave lettuce in the fridge for a really long time. Has the hops of a rabbit with cerebral palsy and two broken hind legs.

If you've never had a friend who was really, really bad at brewing beer and yet was intent on making you taste his latest abortion, but then he forgot and left it in the trunk of his car for three weeks during the summer, and finally sprung it on you at a wedding reception where you were obliged to pretend you liked it because you might need a ride home later and because that girl that he knows is kind of cute, so you compliment him on how clever his name for the batch was -- this beer will fill that void.

I just came by to brag that I got to try the new Tallgrass Ginger Peach Saison before all but probably two people on this board did. Enjoyable! It hits stores next week!

Roidhead and I connoisseured the crap out of some Jester King yesterday. It might have beaten Prairie out for my current favorite brewery

I enjoy beers, and I think I'm a bit better than the average American when it comes to a beer pallet, but I want to improve and find great beers. I will do that by keeping up with this thread and I just got the untapped app (scottwildcat is my name on there pleas fellow gE studs add me) I just finished a 6 pack sampler from New Belgium. I've had a lot of their stuff before but those were my first entries in the app, and I look forward to my new journey. Go cats.
