Ventured into a  bourbon barrel stout this evening. Tasty.

Would love to know where you got that?  Love bourbon barrel and enjoy Anderson Valley.  They have a great Winter beer too!  Winter solstice is great!
Fifteen minutes later, when the Kansas locker room opened its doors to the media, the Jayhawks were still crying. Literally, bawling. All of them. I've never seen anything like it, and I've seen devastated college locker rooms -- after losses in the Final Four, the national championship game -- ever

if you guys had to pick just one type (not brand) of beer what would it be? my gosh i think farmhouse/saisons are just the absolute tits mcgee. as long as you do SD's coconut water trick the next morning, i don't know if there's a better time to be had

I'd have to agree, though a belgian white or abbey ale might be close behind

I found this one in Shelbyville, KY. Small liquor store on the edge of town.

What was even funnier about the lagunitas guy was that he called his design "elegant". Their graphic design is hilariously amateurish

saison is a good one, so many variables and differences in each one.

maybe a belgian abbey? great for aging, but so are most saisons...man this is a tough one

Pale ales, probably. Not necessarily my favorite type, but probably the least likely type I'd ever get tired of.

I toured their brewery this summer. they didn't seem to be pushing the "elegant" concept very much. more of the "oh yeah we smoke hella weed  " concept. pretty fun place though.

this is common. the hop rhizome is actually a relative of cannabis.

Don't care what anyone says, I'm in love with good Russian Imperials. Before I had tried those, I'd have said stouts, though. So take that as you will.
